I blasted out of the debris. Medical crews swarmed the scene. "..What the hell?" I was barely scratched, but that monster had knocked me out. "..W-What the hell happened!?" Alex and Sera were both on a mat, equipment was hooked up to them while Sierra, Ruby and the other two were all loaded into a medical vehicle, "..Hikari! Ma'am!" She looked up from Sera's side, "What happened!?" She frowned, "..Everyone except you was critically injured. Sera saved you all, just barely with her life. Alex took heavy damage to his skeletal structure and blood loss. Sierra suffered neural damage and spinal damage from who knows what. Syn was nearly crushed to death. Ruby was punted through several blocks of buildings. It's a miracle you're all still alive...but." I stared, "But what, ma'am?" She frowned, "All of them are comatose. Sera is in the deepest coma..but they're all unresponsive to anything we do."

Sera looked really bad..but so did Alex. I walked over to Sierra and stared in horror. She had two stab wounds and her neck was raw to the bone. She was barely alive. "...Those monsters caused this?"

"Of course they did. They were Rebellion Constructs. Monsters made of a material that Aetherian steel can barely penetrate. Yet..somehow Seraphine cut them through them all and saved you. She was the last one standing." It was Sylvana, her grandma. "..Whoever she fought was incredibly powerful. Enough to put her comatose just to heal. You were our strongest non-high ranking Destroyer assets and everyone except you was wiped out." She sighed, "..If only even one of you wasn't taken out instantly by those damned monsters. Many of you would still be kicking. I do wonder though..who did she fight that she had to go all-out?"

"She fought the same person that manipulated you all." A major came up. "She told me to escape because she knew what that person was capable of. That's when I came to you guys. She somehow saved everyone and defeated the first controller, but the second controller is nowhere to be seen."

Everyone included Sera was beaten..to a pulp. Why..? Why couldn't I be there for them? I sighed, walking away. Sera and Alex were alone, Hikari was giving orders so I sat next to them. "Look at you two.." I smirked, they were okay at least. Sera's eyes barely cracked open, "..on.." She looked at me, offering a weak grin and I smiled, "You need rest woman otherwise Alex'll kick your ass." She groaned, "..did..everyone..make it..?" I nodded, "Yeah you saved them all." She smiled, "..great.." She slipped back under, breathing returning to normal. I sighed, "Sorry I couldn't do much more than take one hit." I laid back against the support of the tent. I passed out, exhausted.

I woke up to Sera poking me with her sheath. "..what sera?" She giggled, groaning at the same time. "..we all made it!" Alex was sitting up, looking over at me, "You seem awfully unscatched for being slammed through a fucking building." He laughed, holding his gut, "..D-Damn it."

"How long was I out?" Hikari came over, "You slept in that position for three days." I blinked, "THREE DAYS!?" She nodded, "Sierra, Syn, Ruby and the other two are still in critical condition, but they came out of their comas. You three are the sole people that survived without major injury. Likely due to the fact you were knocked unconscious, Sera is Sera and Alex got out of the fight early on."

I sighed, "..Sera." She looked up at me, groaning. "..Huh?" Her eyes were innocent, she didn't know the power she had. "You're insane." She smirked, "..Is that a good or bad thing? Alex says the same stuff as you..but he never says whether its good or bad." Hikari laughed, "..It's both." Alex laughed, holding his gut even more, "That's true, given the fact we've all survived, I guess that makes us insane with her." Hikari knelt, checking Sera's wounds, "They're nearly healed but that doesn't mean you can just do whatever. Your aura is still extremely weak." Sera groaned, "..I just want FOOD MOM.." She grinned at her and Hikari smiled, "Fine fine. I'll take all three of you for breakfast." She helped us all up and Sera groaned, "Jeez..didn't think I overdid it that much." She hoisted up both blades, attaching them to her belt. "When did you get two blades?' She laughed, "When Syn fell, my blade told me to grab Syn's blade." I blinked, "Ehh..? Blades can talk?"
