Hold On

Bitter
Hurt
Surprised
Scared
Praying to God to help me stand
I don't know what to do
I don't know what's right to do
I'm praying to God to lead the way.

I'm scared surprised shocked and alone
Alone with my thoughts nothing else to do.

I can't believe he said that
I can't believe she said that
I'm tired of listening
I'm tired of the fighting

Trying to figure out
Who to believe in
Trying to find out
What's to believe in.

It's dumb it's scary
They're my family
I'm still shocked at their
Vocabulary.

I start to think
What exactly is love
Because after all this
I don't know what love is.

Don't know what to say
Don't know how to help
But I keep praying
'Cause that's all there's left.

I pray to God
"Please make it stop"
I tell him "I'm scared
Please don't let it begin"

Sometimes no answer
But I know he hears
He'll answer when it's time
I just have to hold on.
