as soon as the plane landed, i couldn't contain my excitement. i've honestly missed my family. well only my dads and sister. i plan on talking about my mom to my dad later after i go out with hailee.

i grab my bags from the belt and made my way out of the airport. outside, leroid was waiting for me, as soon as he saw me a smiled appeared on his face and he quickly came over and grabbed my bags. i thanked him and got in the car.

we made small conversation here and there on the way to the house, we talked about my plans and i kept asking if my car is alright and such. we soon arrived and quickly got out, i told leroid to leave my bags in the car so i could fetch them later, i barged into the house and yelled.

"HONEY I'M HOME" i shouted, i soon heard hailee coming down the stairs, she launched herself in my arms.

"i missed you, so much" she mumbled

"aww, i missed you too, lili"i kissed her head.

we broke apart, and we went on the couch, we talked here and there until she said something that caught my attention.

"what did you say?" "i have a boyfriend"

"girl- since when ?" i asked her, invested

"alright, don't get mad okay ?" "sure"

"when you came back the last time, we were kinda talking then."

"lili, i'm genuinely hurt right now!!" i acted hurt

"get over it" she playfully rolled her eyes and we busted out laughing.

"alright, when can i meet him?" i asked, "i don't know, i'll ask him" she said shyly

"let's go drive around yeah ?" i got up to go grab my keys, when i got down the stairs, i saw my bags near the door, that was sweet.

we got into flames and we went driving around, we grabbed slushies from 7 eleven before heading to the beach, just like the good old times. i grabbed a big towel and set it down on the sand. we watched the sunset while making small talk.

once it got pretty dark, we got back in the car "do you want to grab dinner, or would you prefer to eat at home" i asked hailee

"dinner would be nice, dads are going on a date anyway" she said.

i made a turn for the restaurant that we loved going to together. i parked the car and we got out, we entered the building and were greeted by a waiter. he led us to a table and offer us a drink. i ordered a diet coke whereas hailee ordered a sprite, we then ordered and waited.

hailee went on her phone as soon as she did, she gasped. "what, what's happening?" i asked her.

"uh, just see for yourself" she handed me her phone. i took a look and busted out laughing.

"girl what the hell, your girlfriend is literally cheating on you and you're laughing."

i wiped a tear that fell from me laughing and replied. "she told me that she was going to dinner, and she predicted the same thing to happen." hailee giggled a bit too

the post was the hollywood fix, it was a picture of ashley getting out of billie's car and a second one of billie besides ashley. the caption read; "is billie dating someone else 👀".

our order arrived soon enough, we ate and we were then headed back home. once we got home, hailee went up to her room. my dads were both sitting on the dining room table doing some paper work. here goes nothing.

"hey dads..." i said taking a sit.

"hey sweetie" "hey honey"

"so uhm... i've been meaning to talk about this to you."

"go ahead, take your time" my dad gave me a comforting smile, he knew i was nervous.

"okay, so after i went to the college and did the formalities, i called mom, i told her that i stopped going to college and she blew up... um she basically admitted to being homophobic and insulted you and i for being gay, she then said i was a disappointment" i said the last bit a little bit quieter.

"hey..." he grabbed my hands "you're not a disappointment you hear me ? we're all so proud of you, i mean you moved to a brand new unknown city without any family, you work to support yourself so there's nothing disappointing about that." he rubbed my hand.

i gave him a small smile "yeah, i've learn to know my worth, because of billie" i blushed and looked down.

"i'm glad she makes you feel better" he said and smiled again. "and for the homophobic part, i should've told you" he admitted

"wait, you knew ?" i asked confused

"yes honey, i knew the second i introduced her to leroid. she was fine about me leaving her, but not for a man i guess" he explained "when you came out, i talked to her and made her promise to at least stop the snarly comments for you, she agreed." he continued "i guess she didn't expect you to do that." i nodded understandingly.

"but anyway, i just wanted to let you know, as i said i do feel better now so yeah..."

"of course sweetie, we are always here for you." i nodded and inform that i'll go in my room. but before reaching mine i entered hailee's room to annoy her and which led to a sleepover in her room.

the next day i basically went out with some of my old friends. the rest of the week went by fast and was really fun.

however, some people came over to me and asked me about billie and if she was here, which didn't really annoy me. the worst part was the paparazzis. but i'll get through anything for billie so i just tried my best to ignore them and not let them ruin my vacations.
