{A.N} CW: brief symptoms of a panic attack
~Leon's P.O.V~
"We simply can't allow this behavior in our school, we have no choice but to expel your son."
"I'm not letting a failure live in my house. Pack your stuff you have till tomorrow morning before I stop being reasonable."
It's now three days after that dreadful day, and I'm sitting in a park with three of my closest friends trying to figure out what to do. "What if we went to a school with dorms and stuff?" Allison said, "We?" I asked "No duh 'we' don't think you were going to get rid of us that easily" she said before, I'm assuming, looking for a school. "Or we get jobs and run away to like New Hampshire or something and then just get an apartment together, cause then boom no more school" We all just looked at Gina trying to figure out if they were serious, "And how are we getting to New Hampshire smart one" Jax asked seemingly bored but I could see the slight smirk on his face. "No need to be so mean mr.grumpy" Gina said starting to pout. Jax and I giggled at her. "FOUND ONE!" Ali yelled making all three of us jump "Judith's School for Problem Children" she said much calmer, with a glint in her eye. "We're not problem children-?" Gina questioned "We literally got expelled three days ago, anyways it's perfect it's only like $100 enrollment, theres free lodging and meals, the campus is beautiful, and they provide free pick up, guys I think I'm in love" we waited for her to end her ramble and looked at the photos she showed us, it did look beautiful. "I think it's secluded in a forest somewhere and its enrollment is open." Ali said when she got her phone back. We spent the next few hours enrolling and just messing around town while we could. I'm so glad I still have these dorks.
I got an email the next morning "We look forward to seeing you at Judith's School for Problem Children, Please be prepared for pick up at Sans Park at 10am January 3rd" a few things. Is that cryptic? Just me? Anyways. That was fast, I mean we needed fast but that felt too fast? Also, is that tomorrow? What if I couldn't be prepared by tomorrow morning.
I instantly text my friends keeping the whirlpool of questions in my head
L: 'Guys I got accepted'
G: 'So did I!!'
A: 'Me too!!!!'
J: '^'
L: 'Did you guys have a pick up time too?'
A: 'Mhmm tomorrow at 10'
G: 'same'
J: '^'
We decided to meet up and spend our last day at the river. I've been coming here since I could leave the house by myself. It's gorgeous here and for being in such a big city, it's so nice and secluded, it seems untouched by humans with how overgrown it is and the lack of well most everything.
Gina and Jax left notes at their parents houses and brought their stuff with them. We had decided to spend the night at Ali's, I was already staying there and her parents were okay with giving us a ride to the park, they also signed off for us to go to the school. Which considering that was possible should've been a bit more concerning than relieving but oh well I ain't gonna question it
"Wake up!!" I yelled in everyone's ear and watched as everyone jolted up, Jax ready to fight and Gina terrified, Ali was somehow used to it by now. "Our new lives start today and we're gonna be late if you don't hurry your slow butts up" I finished double checking that everything I had was packed as everyone got ready and did the same.
"Ready kiddos?" Ali's dad said popping his head through the doorway not too long later. "Yup" We went out to the car throwing our stuff in the trunk before piling in. "DIBS AUX!" Ali yelled as she connected her phone to the car "Shut up Als!!" Jax said covering his ears. We all sang along to the music on the way to the park, a thirty-ish minute drive.
At the park there was a deep green bus with a logo on the side. After we got out and got our stuff, Gina's dad hugged us all "I'm gonna miss you kids, don't do anything I wouldn't do, kay?" Someone in jeans and and a deep green t-shirt walked over to us, "Are you Mr. Hensworth?" they asked. "Yes, I am?" Dad replied stepping in front of us protectively and walked towards the person. "Hello, I'm Parker I'm from Judith's Reform school and I'm told you are to be dropping off Allison Hensworth, Jax Mason, Gina Rodriguez, and Leon Geamln?" They looked at all of us as they talked. "Ah hello Parker, and I believe you've been told correctly" Dad said relaxing a bit, "Great can I just have you sign here saying you give me permission to drive these four to the school" they held out a clipboard and dad signed it, "Thank you Mr.Hensworth, okay kiddos you can go choose your seats, you're all that I'm picking up today so you have the bus to yourselves." We all made our way to the bus, choosing to put our stuff in the very back and sitting closer to the middle. Not long after Parker climbed on the bus "Okay little ones, lets go over some quick rules" little ones? we're teenagers-? Isn't that something you'd say to like a child? I didn't have much time to dwell on those thoughts as the guy started talking again, "First off while the bus is moving we stay seated we don't? want any of you getting hurt. Second if you need anything just shout my name and I'll be pleased to help you. Third don't throw anything out of the bus and try to keep it as clean as possible inside. When we stop to eat as we are traveling quite far I will allow you to choose where we eat but I ask you either decide together or take turns choosing. Do you all understand?" I nodded my head and I'm assuming so did everyone else did as parker then sat down and started the bus. We waved goodbye to dad as we left the parking lot.
It's been maybe an hour or two? I lost time "We're gonna pull over soon for lunch can you guys decide on where you want to eat?" Parker yelled back at us. "I want McDonald's." Gina said and we all agreed not really caring and knowing it wasn't going to be worth fighting miss ma'am over. We pulled over at a gas station "We're going to have a potty break please at least try to go and you can pick out a juice and a snack for the ride after we eat." Parker said as we all got off. Why are they treating us like children- I couldn't help but think over and over every time they talked. "How old are you Parker?" I asked "I'm 19, why" I thought for a second, "I'm not sure" I said before going into the restroom. I washed my hands and went to look around, I grabbed a monster and a bag of Doritos and went to find Parker. "Aht, sorry kiddo but I'm not letting you get that, you can get a juice instead?" they said when I did find them "Why not-?" I began to question "Because little boys like you don't need that much caffeine, now come on let's go pick out a juice" they said gently taking the monster away from me and going to put it back. "Why are you treating me like a child?" I asked before following them to where the juice was displayed. "What do you mean?" they asked opening the door and gesturing for me to pick one out, "Well earlier you called us little ones, and you just called me a little boy and you won't let me have caffeine and are, like just your tone feels like you're talking to me like I'm a little kid" I grabbed an apple juice while I spoke. Parker looked at me like they were confused "Do you not like it?" they asked as they closed the door and started to walk around. "I don't know, just why? I don't get it-" we found Ali and Gina both with sodas and candies in their hands. "Sorry, give me one second please?" He walked over to the girls and took the sodas they had from them, "We can't get the sodas, lets go get a juice instead okay" he said walking back to the juice section all three of us following in confusion, when we get there Jax was grabbing an energy drink and Parker stopped them leading him over to the juice and letting them all pick out juices.
"Do you guys know where you're going?" Parker asked, "Yeah a reform school." Ali said, confused. "None of you know what kind of school you're really going to-?" they said, grabbing the things we had chosen and going to pay for them. We all just looked at them confused and concerned because what does that mean- we enrolled at a reform school are we not going to reform school?! "Okay I guess I'll explain it on the bus" he said after looking at our faces.
We all got back onto the bus. A heavy tension filling the air. "Okay this is going to be a lot easier if you all know what age regression is?" Parker began in a questioning tone, looking at us all, all of us with blank faces obviously not a single one of us knowing whatever that is. Parker sighed "Okay you'll learn a lot more about it when you get to school but you are going to school that is a safe place for age regressors. so most everyone who goes to this school is apart of age regression in some way. You won't be forced to participate in this though. Okay well anyways age regression is something where people who are physically much older 'regress' to younger age so some might regress to 3 or or it could be younger as low as an infant or older typically to the age of around 10 or so, this is a headspace known as littlespace." Ali spoke up as they paused to breathe, "What's regressing?" Parker looked like they were thinking before answering "Regressing is kind of like hm well like lets say they regress to an age of 5, when the person has regressed it's like they're mind has sorta been switched with a 5 year olds mind, so its like a 5 year old is in a 16 year olds body, like they're brain sorta almost time traveled, does that make sense?" I looked at him confused but I got it I think. "Okay I'm assuming you guys understand, now people who regress are known as regressors or littles. Sometimes littles have someone that look over then while they are regressed this person is known as a caregiver. Not all littles have or want a caregiver but those that do can have different relationships with their caregivers, some are platonic but they can be romantic. At the school if you're a little you might have an assigned caregiver, this is only when you're a caregiver dependent little and have yet to find one. Or in the dorms, every floor has an RA that is a caregiver and can help littles on their floor. Does this all make sense so far?" we all just looked at him trying to listen and process everything said "yeah I think it makes sense" I said eventually. "Okay great you'll definitely learn more at the school.
