Sullivan wakes up to the deafening silence of his apartment. His most recent kill replays through his mind, a small smile growing on his face.Getting up from his bed, he goes through the necessary steps of hygiene. His outfit consisting of black cargo pants accompanied by a tight fitting black t-shirt, so tight that it shows the every ripple of his moving muscles. His relatively small waist becoming smaller by a black belt, his broad shoulders and hips being enhanced. In his black combat boots holds the enchanted dagger. On his right ring finger lays a silver ring decorated by runes of protection on the under-band. From his neck lays a necklace, the fang of a vampire dangles from the silver chain. His first kill.
Walking from his apartment - an apple clenched between his teeth - he texts his only friend.
"You at school?"
"Duh. You missed first period." His friend replies, a string of texts cursing him out following afterwards.
With a roll of his eyes, his focused switches to ignorant humans that roam about the town. A wistful smile grows on his face, envying the ignorant bliss that they live in. Unknowing of the bloodsucking monsters that roam the earth, that drain the vary life-force from innocents.
A call from his friend interrupts his thoughts.
"If you aren't here in the next five minutes, I swear I'll castrate you." Aneesa's voice threatens over the phone, a shiver of fear travels down his spine. Yes he literally kills vampires constantly, but that girl... she can be scary when she wants to be.
"Relax, I'm literally walking in right now." He brushed her threat off, the load, crowded hallway now occupying his senses.
Hanging up the phone, he taps on her shoulder. She squints up at him before her face breaks out into a grin, his expression mirroring hers.
"Finally, it's a miracle you haven't been expelled." She whines, wrapping an arm around his, she drags him to the next lesson. History.
"Just because I don't show up doesn't mean I'm dumb. They need me too help keep the grade average up." He explains, bragging slightly. The Indian-American girl just rolls her eyes at his comment, intentionally digging her nails into his arm. "Bitch." He scoffs under his breath,
———
"I swear she wants to fight." Aneesa finishes her rant about how annoying Caroline Forbes was today. How the blond barbie wouldn't shut up about the new forest eyed boy.
"She's desperate for attention." Sullivan tells his one and only friend, walking into the grill with her. "She's an attention whore that'll drop her panties for the first guy that shows her an ounce of attention." He makes his distaste for the blond clear, still pissed that she outed his sexuality to the whole school. Drunk or not.
"That we can agree on." The Indian girl nods, the two sitting down in a booth, not picking up the menu's since they already know what they want. "New guy just walked in." She points behind him.
He turns around to see Matt politely introduce himself to the new guy, while Elena shuffles and smiles awkwardly. A snort coming from the two at the scene.
"God, that's sad." The witch snorts out, watching as the girl and new guy walk over to the table occupying Bonnie Bennett and the slutty blond (Caroline).
"Can you." Aneesa asks, pointing up to the both of their ears, asking for a rune to enhance their hearing. They've been friends since they were in diapers, of course she knows, and she finds it "fucking awesome", her words.
Nodding, he raises his hand to brush her hair behind her ear, engraving the rune when his finger brushes against her skin, his burning into existence along with hers.
"So you were born in Mystic Falls?" The barbie blond asks as soon as the two sat down, making the Light boy roll his eyes at her voice and Aneesa snicker at her friend's reaction. Stefan humming in agreement to the blonds question.
"I moved when I was still young." The new guy continues his confirmation.
"Parents?" The blond continues to question.
"My parents passed away." He informs the three girls, looking between them before his gaze settles back on Elena.
"I'm sorry." Elena tells him, a nod coming from the male. "Any siblings?" She asks.
"None that I talk to." The two eavesdropping friends furrow theirs brows at how he phrased that, glancing at each other before their focus returns to the four. "I live with my uncle." He tells the girls, still not looking away from the Gilbert girl.
Seeing that Stefan's attention is on someone else and not her, she tries bringing it back to her, making the eavesdropping male roll his eyes.
"So, Stefan, if you're new, you don't known about the party tomorrow." The blond says to the male with - what she thinks is - a seductive smile.
"It's a back-to-school thing in the falls." The dark skinned girl elaborates for him.
"Are you going?" Stefan's attention returns to the Gilbert.
"Of course she is." Bonnie answers for her, knowing her friend would deny.
Seeing that the conversation ended, Sullivan deactivates the runes, a warm tingle coming from the disappearing runes.
"Seeing Caroline get ignored makes me so happy." The male sighs out with a smile, enjoying the blonds obvious frustration greatly. The girl just smirks at her friend's enjoyment before waving Vicky Donavan over.
"What can I get you two?" She asks, leaning against their table lazily.
"Two strawberry milkshakes, a basket of fries and two burgers." Aneesa orders for the two, not wanting to disrupt her friends sadistic happiness.
The Donovan girl walks off with a nod, already knowing their order before having to walk over, only doing so to not piss her boss off.
"Do you still have to go out tomorrow?" Aneesa asks after letting her friend bathe in Caroline's annoyance for a minute, a little upset that he can't go to the back-to-school part tomorrow.
"Yeah, sorry." He turns to her with a nod. "She's been the cause for too many deaths, she has to go." He tells her, referring to the vampire he has to kill tomorrow, also not happy about the fact he has to miss the party.
"I know." She sighs out, Vicky arriving with their milkshakes before walking off. "Vampires ruining our fun." She grumbles out as she takes a sip of her milkshake, the boy mimicking her actions with a fond smile.
"We can hang out the day after?" He offers a compromise, raising his milkshake.
"Deal." She agrees with a nod, clinking their glasses.
