~Calum POV~
Luke was in my room telling me about last night; the party. He told me every little thing what was happening. I didn't see a thing last night because I was so drunk I barely a thing. The only thing i remember is a girl asking if she could suck me off. I don't remember if I agreed. That's never good...

Luke was happy with what he did and I was proud. He just kept talking about the jealousy bouncing off of Brooke onto him. I could get that he was not going to a party for a long time.

"Then when Brooke asked if we could.go home we went home... And she didn't even sleep with me last night. I don't know what she thinks. I got Hailey back for being such a slut-----" I started to tune into my own thoughts again.

I haven't seen my other friends for awhile, which really sucks. I miss them. I really miss Ashton. We're so distant from him. It's not even really hanging out with us, he's always with his girlfriend. I also miss Emma. She's the girl from school, Brookes friend. She's really nice and kinda cute. Wait. Did i just say? Okay uh that was awkward.

"Cal, what do I do? I don't know if she's mad or what"

Silence

"Uhhh. I can talk to her" Luke knows I don't really communicate with humans well so he smiled.

Luke sniffled. I put a confused expression on my face and looked at him to see him wiping his eye. Jesus, I swear Luke is so emotional.

"Cal, you've come so far. Back then you were mute, but now you're talking to somebody that you don't really care for but you're doing it for me."

He smiled at me weakly. I had to be the strong one here, I've already went through all the shit. I just looked down flashing back to my past. It was absolutely horrible. I nodded as I got up to go talk to Brooke. I didn't know where she was at first. I looked in Michaels room then Luke's room, she was in neither. I went downstairs to see if she was there. And luckily she was. She has Luke's guitar strumming a few guitar cords.

"You know how to play?" I ask curiously.

"I took lessons only a few times. I only know 4 cords.." I only nodded to words that came out of her mouth. I went over to sit next to her. I had no clue what to say first.

"Uh. So how was the party for you?" I say calmly, her smile immediately fell

"You really want to know Cal? It was shit. Pure. Shit. I didn't even want to go. I went because Michael was going. I knew Luke wouldn't want to do anything with me. I'm lucky he even came back. I just don't know how to feel anymore." she put the guitar back on its stand. "I really don't know." she whispered.

"I'm guessing he brought you here to talk to me...?" she guesses....correct.

"Yeah... But Luke isn't himself without you. Now I know that sounds cheesy but he's really worried that you hate him. He got Hailey back and you know that. He just want to know why you're mad. I don't see a point to why you're mad..." I say hoping she won't be mad at me.

"Here where is he?"

"In my room...?" I say confused. She gets up and dashes into my room. I decided not to get into this and I texted Emma to see if she wanted to hang out or something.

~Luke POV~
I was just in Calums room wishing for none of last night. I wish Brooke would've been happy or told me that she didn't want to go. What can I do to make her happy and soon as possible? Where could I take her? Hmmm.

I was still on Calums bed. He went to talk with Brooke. I wonder how much longer he'll take.

I still lay here, alone too. Waiting. Then when I here a thump tuck thump almost like a clap I look up to see Brooke standing there.

"Baby oh please come here." I bring her into a quick hug but she pushes me away. She looked disgusted. But why? I just sit on the bed, again. "Sweetie I'm so so sorry Why do you hate me. Please tell me. What did I do wrong, I'll fix it."

"Nothing. I'm just not sure. One things for sure is that haileys is never going to a party again, at least with us." She scoffs. We both chuckle.

"Here get ready." I.had an idea of where to take her... "Why? Where are we going?"

"My escape..." I whisper. She only nods.

She came out in different clothes which wasn't so surprising. Girls always do. I put my arm around her shoulder and she came closer to me as we walk to the car.

I put the keys in and start driving. I look at her, she looks at me as I mouth a 'thank you're towards her. She looked confused. "Thanks for letting me take you and forgiving me." we both smile at each other.

I haven't been to my escape since I met Brooke. She was my escape, therefore I didn't need this place I just wanted Brooke to know where it was and what it was like.

We had soon arrived at the place I call "My Escape" Brooke was so curious when we gotten out of the car. Her eyes looked big and we're roaming everywhere; up, down, left, and right. We
Both of us had taken off our shoes and walked upon the grainy sand with the shallow water right up on shore with a nice small breeze running through Brookes hair.

"So you're escape is a beach?" she asks. "It was my only place to go before I met you. I'd come here when I thought nobody cared or other things..." I trail off.

None of us really didn't speak because we were lost for words. I haven't been here for awhile. Its changed. But not an awful lot. There was only another couple and a couple homeless people but that didn't matter as long as I was here.

I hadn't realized it was a little past midnight. It was also a school night. I hope Brooke doesn't realize. The last night I didn't get much sleep because she wasn't there with me. I signaled it was time to leave when I kissed her on the nose. She only giggled like she always but this time it was a tired giggle. We had to get home.
