Dinner at the Griers

"The food should be ready in about 10 minutes if you kids want to go hang out in one of the boys rooms for a while y'all are welcome to" Elizabeth offers politely.

"Okay" Nash says leading us up to hi room.

His room is actually pretty clean which is surprising considering he is a teenage boy. Reid, Nash, and Hayes all sit on Nash's bed. Me and Caleb decide to just sit on the floor.

"I'll sit on the floor and you can sit on the bed" Hayes says sweetly.

"Umm I'm fine, but thanks for offering" I reply.

"Are you sure I don't mind"

"No really it's fine"

All the boys actually have a lot in common. They all like football and lacrosse, which I know a lot about considering I've watched both my Rutgers play all my life.

"What sports do you play Paige?" Nash ask.

"I play softball, volleyball, and tennis."

"Oh that's cool" nash says.

I could almost feel hayes staring at me but when I looked up he wasn't even looking at me. Maybe I just wanted him to look at me. Wait, what. Why would I want him to look at me, it's no like I like him. It's just I think he is cute and super sweet. Oh crap. I think I like him. What is wrong with me I can't like someone I just met.

"Boys the food is ready"

We all get up an walk down stairs. You could smell the food as soon as you opened Nash's door. We walked into the dining room and the table was already set and the food looked delicious.

We all sit down and I'm sitting in between Caleb and Hayes. We all grab hands and say grace. I couldn't help but get a little excited when he grabbed my hand. When Reid finished the blessing hayes have my hand a tight squeeze and we looked at each other an he smiled.

Okay, yep it's official I like him and I don't even know how. We just met and I already get butterflies when he grabs my hand. This seriously can't be happening. I mean it's not that I don't want a boyfriend it's just I have never really been in a serious relationship before and that can be kinda scary.

We finish eating and our parents start talking so we decide to go into the living room and get to know each other a little more we play 29 question which was Caleb's idea.

Nash goes first. "Okay, Paige do you have a boyfriend?"

"No." For two seconds I thought I saw hayes smile, but it was probably just my imagination.

"Okay hay-

*gets interrupted by parents*

"Okay kids time to go" my dad says.

We all say goodbye and give each other hugs. I tell mrs. Elizabeth and mr. Johnny bye and we all walk home.

I'm pretty tired after the move. So I decide to take a shower and to bed. Tonight was actually pretty fun and hey I think I got two new friends.

Okay, so this chapter sucks but ya know I promise they will get better. And just so y'all know their relationship isn't gonna be like BAM so yeah. Don't get too excited yet.
