Chapter 2: The cinnamon roll, the Pikachu, and pumbaa from lion king

-Upper moon meeting-

An unexpected summoning happened at the infinity fortress. The upper moons gathered and were indeed curious as to why they were summoned. None of the twelve kizuki has been killed yet. In any case, this could mean that Muzan Kibutsuji has new orders for them.

Muzan: "I called upon this meeting for a new order that you should follow. Last night, someone rather familiar dared to cross paths with me."

Muzan then changes into the boy he saw at the city with the hanafuda boy. He had it all down to perfect detail.

Muzan: "This is what the boy looks like, he has golden yellow hair, celestial blue eyes and is dressed up in a blue vest and orange shirt. The weapon he wields is not a Nichirin blade but a double edged sword and a shield. If any of you locate him, stall him. I will come quickly to pick him up, do not forget to locate the blue spider lily. Any attempt of hurting, even laying a single scratch on him, will result in punishment. These are your new orders, I will summon the lower moons soon…"

The new orders, although sudden, they did not question it.

Douma: "Oh my, seems like someone has caught our lord's attention~"
He says as he opens one of his fans.
"What do you think of Akaza-dono?"

Akaza then glared at upper moon two, it was interesting that Muzan had sudden interest in someone, it almost sounded like… he was desperate.

Akaza: "I don't care, it's his orders. Although, if someone has caught that man's interest… then maybe there could be potential for a new upper moon."

Douma: "I'm very glad that you are sharing your thoughts! It's not often we-"

Akaza then punches Douma's face, obliterating it. Of course, Douma regenerates without any problem at all.

Douma: "So rude~"

Kokushibo just stood silently, ignoring the fiasco of upper moon 2 and 3. Never did he think that someone in many years would catch Muzan's attention. The two were more like a business relationship so any order given by Muzan, he shall do it with no hesitation.

Muzan had his moment alone, in his room, he reached for a book he had not seen in a long time. Somehow, it was well preserved. Some pages had notes written down with specific dates, others had drawings, one of the drawings he was looking at with angst. A single tear drops from the corner of his eye.

Muzan: "After all this time… You have been reborn over a thousand years later, Otouto. Where have you been to? It doesn't matter, your Onii-san will come and find you soon…"

He is reminded of the day when he became a demon, he found a body on a river. Not just any body however, in this timeline, Kibutsuji had a brother. The body he found was his brother, many cuts and bruises were over him as Muzan cried, hugging his brother's corpse gently. Instead of eating, he buried him in a special place only he knew. Soon, he will be visiting the grave like he does every year. There was only one person he cared about in his human life, only to be killed by other humans… Reminded of why he has slaughter thousands in his many years of terror. To make sure those feel the same pain as he did many centuries ago. The demon king did not do it for pleasure, he was filled with vengeance!

Tanjiro and Journey walked forward on a country road. A vast field ahead of them and nothing else, other than nature, surrounding them. The two had a conversation to make the long walk less lonely.
