Minnie's POV:
I don't know where I am. Everything's dark, I smell burning, though. This can't be a good sign. I shake my head and open my eyes. Oh fuck no. I'm not alive, I guess they beat me too much. But I- I'm in- Hell. I stand up, and brush ashes off of my dress. I'm seeing things. That can't be The Devil. I feel like I'm paler than I already am. They clearly noticed me. They let out a sigh.
"Minnie Dice, 22, beat to death."
I stare even paler than I could've been. I look down, I don't have a ghost trail, but I have a demon tail.
"You don't know why you're here, do you? You think playing it dumb will help. 'I'm a poor girl with a bad partner!!' yes, you were. But I'll tell you why."
I stay silent. They shifted their glasses to be level with their eyes. They let out another sigh.
"You robbed people. You intentionally murdered people, you stole from casinos, lust and greed."
I stare, breath-taken, well, if I could breathe that is. Their tail swooshed around behind them. They just stared.
"Bloody hell, ya gonna say anything?" They said.
"I didn't- I didn't expect this.. I'm highly religious.. I thought I'd-"
"All you do is complain, don'tcha?"
I stare again.
"Look, let's make a deal. You work for me, you get to be alive again. You might even get extra on your end. Fame, money, anything you desire. But I own you. I own your soul and everything you own."
I hesitated but- I agreed. We shook hands and everything went black for me.
