𝚂𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚕𝚢,

shifting from his uncomfortable position, he turned his head slightly to enjoy what little view he had. Trees and forests were all that could be seen, yet this still brought some type of foreign relief to him, relaxing his mind from any incoming anxiety he had.

The sky was grey and dull, and thus this mood was reflected onto the boy, who continued to look out the window. Next to him sat a young lady, her hands nervously shaking and her eyes darting to the outside of the window in hopes of distracting herself from what was to come.

His eyes traced the raindrops as they fell from the window; it placed him into a trance. It was mesmerising. The vehicle made slight bumps, jutting when turning corners, which slowly brought the boy out of his trance. He looked forward towards the driver's seat and then towards the girl next to him, and then a sound, the sound of whispering air, could be heard.

Slowly, he began to focus on these sounds, trying to further distract himself. The sound of wind wipers was heard continuously; it was as though the car thought of them as a type of nuisance, and so the car tried to rid itself of the raindrops.

Gradually, the car came to a slow halt; the gravel underneath made creaking and crunching sounds as the wheels began to stop moving; the rain had yet to let up; it was as though it was warning the occupants of the vehicle that danger was ahead.

The two occupants grabbed their belongings and made their way out. The driver nervously looked toward the house that loomed over his taxi. He felt shivers climbing over his spine, his hands tightly gripping the steering wheel, and his instincts telling him to get out of there as quickly as possible.

The noise of the falling raindrops never stopped but instead fell in the pattern of a musical chime. The two occupants could feel the rain hitting against their clothing, and one made a run for cover while the other stood there, admiring the building's beauty.

"Yui, come on, we're going to get soaked." The voice that belonged to Ciel spoke.

This immediately snapped Yui out of her stupor, and she too began to hurry towards cover along with her friend.

"Ciel, wait for me!" She said as she began to run towards the entrance of the household.

Both stood at the door, each waiting for the other to knock.
