"SINCE WHEN DID I HAVE THIS MUCH PAPERWORK?!" Tsunade exclaimed seeing the piles of paper stacked on her desk looking as if it would topple over with a slight movement
"W-well Lady Tsunade you have been neglecting your work" her assist Shizune replied nervously
"What? How?" Tsunade questioned
"Well you went gambling last week-"
"This job is stressful"
"You were drinking and blacked out"
"It was during my break"
"And you worked overtime in the hospital trying to help patients"
"Well-" Tsunade began but stopped "Yeah that's right" she replied sighing
"Hey it's okay I'm sure you can get this all done before midnight" Shizune said trying to cheer her master up
"Yeah midnight" Tsunade grumbled before picking up a pile of paperwork and putting it in front of her
"Guess I'll start with these-"
"Hokage sama"
"Hm?" Tsunade said looking up from her paperwork to see Izumo
"Izumo what are you doing here? You're supposed to be guarding the gate right now" Tsunade replied slightly annoyed at her circumstances
"Sorry to disturb you Hokage sama, but like you instructed we brought a person with no designated village who says he's a traveler" Izumo replied bowing
'Hm a traveler eh, but then again we can't be too careful especially with the Akatsuki around' Tsunade thought before saying
"Alright bring them in"
A black haired boy stepped into the room wearing a brown poncho and black glasses
'If I didn't know better I would've thought he'd stolen it' Tsunade thought as the boy bowed
"I will be leaving now" Izumo replied and was gone in a flash
"So you're a traveler eh? Would you mind giving me some proof-"
"I'm not actually a traveler," Akito replied, cutting her off. He had thought carefully of what he should do once he found out he was in the past, Izumo had described events leading him to the conclusion that it had been some time after the Akatsuki's first attack on the Kazekage. Other than that he had no idea on what to do, time travel had never been possible before so he couldn't figure out what to do on his own. And who else but one of the legendary sannin could help him.
"Pretty bold of you telling the Hokage that you were lying about your background, either you want to go to jail or you want to tell us something" Tsunade concluded taking a sip of her sake
"You're right I have some important information that I must convey to you Hokage sama" Akito replied, making Tsunade's eyebrow raise and Shizune went to shut the doors.
"Alright but if I think you're lying you will be put in custody or be asked to leave our village" Tsunade replied seeing no ounce of fear in the boy's eyes
Akito took a deep breath weighing his choices and possible outcomes before giving an answer that the fifth Hokage was not expecting
"I'm from the future"
Tsunade's eye twitched what kind of idiot did he take her for
"Time travel is Impossible" Shizune retorted but her master put a hand up to stop her from continuing
"Unless you have some sort of evidence we can't believe you" Tsunade replied 'These pranks are getting ridiculous' Tsunade thought taking another sip of Sake
