Soon enough, Danny  awoke : from his frightening slumber. 

He hoped it was all a really bad nightmare ya’know, he prayed, and hoped that it wasn’t real.

 that he would awaken in his mother's arms and would be sealed with all the love and affection imaginable. 

The fact that he is half dead and half alive proves that life isn't fair and never has been.

Danny awoke to the sound of soft snoring and went in search of Dash and his parents.

He grinned, but it unnaturally vanished as a new physician entered the room. According to what Danny could make out on their name tag, they were "Maple-fond."

"Hello, there," she muttered, trying not to disturb the sleeping people. However, it didn't work, and Maddie strung up so quickly it would give anybody whiplash, waking Jake and Dash up. 

"oh sorry," she replied gently as she sat back down.

“ So sorry didn’t mean to wake you, anyway Danny I need to run so test on you. Even if you're not keeping the baby, we need to make sure there any bad side effects and if turmitate the fetus. 

we need to check what risks are and how they’ll affect you or the fetus.

Danny was glad to hear that she was referring to the fetus well, as a fetus. He knew that it truly wasn’t a baby just yet, Danny wasn’t sure what to do with it. 

“ I know you just found out but, do you want to keep it? Or terminate it?” 

The doctor explained to the jaded child, but it felt like Danny wasn’t in his body; it felt like he was flooding.

The inside of his body felt like it belonged to a royal; princess or a prince. Like it was his job to the grace of royalty, even under the true circumstances. 

it felt good: it gave him a purpose to feel happiness; to know that he was finally protecting something that made him victorious in his battle with anger and heart might. 

Danny hated big, loud and mean feelings, they hurt him:

Hospital's 

And most of all finding out he was pregnant.

Why,

Why did life hurt Danny so much? 

Why was life so mean, well maybe it's because he was half dead, but still, dead or alive, life wasn't fair. 

He'd guessed it would never be.
