Where are you?

Gray's point of view

The morning sunlight peeks through my curtains and sneaks past my eyelids. "Ugh." I roll over and try to go back to sleep, but no avail, I'm awake now.

As I rise, I noticed suddenly the  light from the window was blocked out. 'What in the world?' I look to see a face pressed against the window. 'Really? This early? So annoying!' I walked over to the window and slammed the curtains shut, ignoring the water woman's creepy gaze looking at my lower body.

'Might as well go see what the guilds up to.' I slide on my boxers, than my pants, then my shirt. 'I know they aren't going stay on long but I can try' I walked toward the front door when I suddenly heard breathing behind it. 'Heck no, how does that woman think I'm going fall in love with her if she doesn't give me space?' I sighed and went out the back door to avoid her crazy "love."

Truth is, I don't really believe I'm meant for love. I mean I had a crush on Erza for awhile, but that just turned into a clear one sided chase so I gave in. She had Jellal anyway. I could also say I liked Lucy, at least a little, but that was just a teenaged boy fantasy any boy would have with girls shaped like that. It was never anything actually serious. Besides I'm almost certain she'll go for Loke or Natsu. Well that's if that idiot flame for brains could take a hint about her feelings. At least I think she has feelings. Ugh woman are confusing.

Speaking of pinky, I haven't seen him in a minute, I wonder what's taking him so long. His mission was to take down a wizard that had been cursing a village. It shouldn't take him but maybe two days, and yet now that I'm thinking about it, he hasn't been at the guildhall for a week. He should be fine, after all, happy's with him, so if anything were to go wrong he'd come get us, right?

Speak of the devil and he shall come calling. I had just sat down with my breakfast when the guildhall doors flung open. The little blue cat came flying in looking frantically around. Then his eyes landed on me. "Gray! Natsu needs your help! He can't move and he's trapped in some blue gel. The wizard is keeping him hostage! What's worse is I was trapped in a cage so I couldn't come immediately. Where's Lucy and Erza? We could use them too. We need to hurry. Natsu's in trouble!" He was sobbing while trying to speak.

"Woah calm down" I said that, but I definitely stood up in a rush. "Erza and Lucy are on a mission with Wendy, Levy and Cana, they wanted girls time. But that's not important right now, I'll go. Can you fly me to him? If not, then at least lead the way."

The little blue kitten nodded and sobbed, picking me up and flying as fast as possible to the destination and to Natsu. "Can you tell me anything about this wizard? Anything that can make it easier to fight him?" I had to shout because the wind was so strong.

"Yeah." Happy swallowed, "He seems to be able to shoot out this type of blue substance from his hands, but it seems like he had to wrap his hand around Natsu's arm to do it in the first place."

"Ok so fight at a distance, got it. How did Natsu get grabbed anyway?"

"Well it kind of embarrassing, but we were really hungry after traveling, so we saw food and sat down to eat. Well, the wizard came up behind us and grabbed Natsu's arm. Suddenly that blue stuff came out, Natsu started screaming, and then it swallowed him. He's been trapped in there for six days now. I don't even know if he's breathing." The cat started sobbing again. Breathing really heavy.

"It'll be ok Happy. I'll free him and you guys can celebrate by eating your own food." I sighed. Those two were so idiotic sometimes. "Are we almost there?"

Happy nodded, trying not to hyperventilate. "Yeah he's in that creepy building." He pointed at a broken down abandoned house. Looking around the village I saw that blue gel everywhere. It reminded me a lot of sugar boys attack but different. Don't touch it.
