We went into town looking our best. This week we were Lucky we went down to the river and cleaned ourselves. So we looked almost like normal people. I found a few hair ties and put Lilly's hair into little pig tails so she would look like an innocent girl.
It was really crowded so no one suspected a thing we would walk around the open street market. When there was a stand we would walk by it and right when we were about to go to a different stand we snatch the thing you want.
We walked around for about an hour an then I heard a scream "HEY, COME BACK HERE!" I knew someone was caught. Through the crowd of people I saw Lilly running dodging a whole bunch of people. She ran past me in a blink of an eye. I picked up my feet and started to run after her.
After a little I caught up to her, she was running out of breath so I picked her up bridal style and ran to our "hide out." I dropped her on the old tattered mattress that her and I sleep on and right as I dropped her I fell on my butt. It was about 6 blocks but if felt like a lot more carrying a little girl.
The guys came shortly after us even Jacob looked like he was worried about Lilly. They all just fell to the ground as well. Some things came tumbling out their coat and jean pockets. After we all caught our breath we sat a round and took out all the things we stole.
There was tomatoes, potatoes, apples and a whole bunch of other foods. Lilly surprised us all she got something we have never gotten in a LONG time. Potato chips a whole bag, that's why she got yelled at. I didn't realize she had it but she hid it in her coat so no one would notice but I guess that man did.
"Today was a good day!" Said Randy. He was even shocked and usually he says something to try to make him sound cool.
