Love at first sight

Chapter 3

Every body was tired so they fell asleep. We had a hard day. I couldn't fall asleep but everyone else was fast asleep. I really hate sharing a bed I like my own space but Lilly is a bed hog and takes up three fourths of the bed while I'm stuck on the rest of the one fourth I'm practically falling off.

When we found Lilly I first slept on the cold gravel with no blanket or anything. I got really ticked and argued with Randy in how I needed a bed. So we talked to Lilly and she being the sweet little "princess" she is she let me sleep on the bed.

Lilly and I never really liked each other we ALWAYS fought. Even though she looked and acted innocent to Randy and everyone else to me she was a little brat. I am usually in charge of her because the guys don't know what to do with girls. I'm more of a guy sadly considering I have been in this group of monkeys since I was young. But I still remember when I younger I would sneak out my bedroom window and hangout with this one girl I met in the park.

Her name was Alley she had dark brown hair that was down to her waist she had perfect flawless skin and beautiful foggy green eyes. All I'm saying really is that she is beautiful. She was the sweetest person too she was kind of shy at first but she was really active and crazy once I met her. We would hang out whenever I had the chance and when I did we would do each others hair and tell each other stories...

"WAKE UP!!!" Randy said. It startled me, I didn't realize I fell asleep. I opened my eyes and say Randy standing on a old wooden box banging old, rusted over pots that he found in the trash.

I got up groggily and realized that everyone else was already up and they were on the floor laughing their heads off. "You have been asleep for quite some time so we found some pans and banged them together to wake you up." Lilly said then burst out laughing again "you should *laugh* have *laugh* seen your *laugh* face." She said almost running out of breath.

I got really ticked do I stomped off out the alley and to my secrete place. It was about a mile away. It is worth the walk. It's a small pond away from the city. It has a cute little well that I sit up on and think. No one knows that I go there. When I reached there I picked up a small rock and chucked it in the water. I remember a song Alley sang to me. She heard it on the radio it was called Water by Brad Paisley. It was calming and a fun song I loved one part at the end.

"You can stay right there when the daylight's gone

Play truth or dare, and it won't take long

'Fore you and her got nothin' on but water"

It was calming. It reminded me of my childhood and how much fun I had with Alley but the. I went home and my step dad would be drunk as heck and slap my face and abuse me. My step mom would just sit there and watch and laugh her head off.

When I thought of that I sat down in the dirt tucked my head in my knees and cried. I hated my life. Nothing has gone right in life I have never had fun I have never felt real happiness. I was balling my eyes out but u was startled by a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and sniffles and saw a woman she was starting to tear up a little she had a quizzical look on her face she asked "Sarah? Is that you?" I nodded my head slowly then she smiled and gave me a huge hug.
