Dale's RV must have broken down in front of us. We all got out and checked. We all just decided to go around to different cars to scavenge supplies. I found some weapons, but I didn't touch them because I don't want to get hurt. I then heard walking and Rick told me to get under one of the cars. I obeyed and slid under the red car I was by. Sophia was right in front of me and Glenn and Shane were in the car next to me. We waited there, scared obviously. I held my breath so the walkers don't hear. Eventually, the walkers passed, or so we thought. I saw Sophia begin to move to get out of under the car.

A walker then heard her and tried to get at her. My eyes widen. Oh shit. I wanted to get out and help her, but I didn't have the courage to. Especially with this dull knife I have to kill the walker. All of us came out from under the cars. "Lori, there's two walkers after my baby!" Carol complained. I saw Rick in the distance running after Sophia. I tried to catch my breath, due to the horrific scenes that just happend. I saw Carl come towards me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry Y/N, she'll be fine I promise." He said reassuring. I took a big gulp. "T-thanks Carl." I said smiling. Carol kept her stance by the highway barriers. "Why aren't we out there looking, why are we moving cars? "We have to get a clear path so the R.V can get through once it's running." "We're not going anywhere until my daughter gets back."

"Hey that goes without saying." Lori said tapping Carols shoulder. "I'm still freaked out by that herd that passed us." Andrea said tossing Glenn a water bottle. "Yeah what was that? Just all of them marching along like that?" Glenn said, agreeing with Andrea. "Herd, yeah that sounds about right." Shane said, agreeing with both of them.

TIMESKIP AROUND SUNSET:

I heard twigs snapping, and leaves rustling. I got scared and looked over, hoping it wasn't  a walker. It was just Daryl and Rick.

"Y-You didn't find her?" Carol said, afraid understandbly. Rick shook his head no. "I-Is that blood?" Carol said again referring to Ricks shirt. Rick turned his head to Daryl hoping he would say it. "We took down a Walker." "O-Oh my god." Carol said looking down at her feet with her hands at her head. "There was no sign he was ever near Sophia." Rick said helping Carol with her fears. "How can you know that?" Andrea complained. "We cut the sum bitch open, made sure." Daryl stated.

Carol stood there for a few seconds. "H-How can she survive out there all by herself, she's only 12, she cant!" Carol exclaimed, crying. I sighed and felt very bad for her.

Tears brimmed at my eyes while Carl hugged me by the side.

TIMESKIP: AROUND 10PM?

I slept in the R.V when I heard Daryl, Andrea, and Dale talking about Daryl and Andrea heading into the woods to look for Sophia some more. "Thank you, you guys." Carol said. "Yea." Daryl replied while I gazed at Andrea and Daryl walking into the woods.

MORNING TIME

I woke up to the bright sunshine flashing before my eyes. I rubbed my eyes and walked over to the exit of the R.V. I saw Rick talking about the weapons Carl found the day before. "We can't have our people going out there with just guns. Say there happens to be a herd passing by, and we fire at the wrong time now thats game over for all of us. We cant have people shooting guns everytime a tree rustles." Shane said. "It's not the trees I'm worried about." Andrea said, annoyed. They then started talking about searching for Sophia more. They all agreed to who is going. "Hey Rick, can I go?" I said. "Uh, I don't know Y/N, I don't want you nor Carl getting hurt." Rick replied. "Please, we'll be fine! Pleaseee!" I pleaded. "Oh alright." He said smiling patting both of our heads. We followed the group into the woods and I saw Carl talking to his mother. Daryl came across a tent. We assumed it was Sophia in there. Carl held my hand while I held his. I looked down. "Let's hope shes in there."Carl said. "Yeah." I whispered back. Rick motioned Carol to come over. "If she is in there, your voice is the first one she should hear." "Sophia? Sweetie?... It's Mommy, It's Mommy.." She said, hoping her beloved daughter was in there. Daryl slowly opened the tent and went inside. We started coughing by the awful smell. "Daryl?" He came out a few seconds later. "It ain't her." Daryl stated. I looked down, about to cry. Carl hugged me again. "Don't worry Y/N/N." He said, trying to help me.

We then heard bells ring. We kept running until we found a Church. Rick opened the door and we saw three walkers dressed in formal fitting. They stood up and Daryl, and Rick went inside to kill them. I went in and so did Carl. We sat by each other. I prayed in my head that Sophia would be alright.

TIMESKIP: SUNSET

Rick was talking about splitting up. I didn't agree and said we should just keep our group together. He reassured me, saying all would be alright. I said ok. "Can I join you guys? I said, asking Rick if I can join Shane, Carl, and him. "Okay, sure." He said motioning me next to him while Carl was on my right. We kept walking into the woods, looking for Sophia. I kept my eyes pealed and looked around as much as I could. Shane and Rick were in front of me and Carl. "Hey Y/N, so I've been meaning to tell you this, but I like you, as not a friend."  Carl confessed. "I know we shouldn't be a thing, I know we're too young." Carl confessed again. "I uh, I like you too Carl!" I smiled back at him. He held my hand as we walked behind Shane and Rick. He let go of my hand as soon as he saw a Deer. "Wait Carl, someone could be hunting that dee-" I couldn't finish because Carl was already ahead of Shane and Rick. He stared at it with a big smile on his face. I smiled to, I liked seeing Carl smiling, and a animal that wasn't dead or bitten. A few minutes later, I heard a loud gunshot and Carl fell to the ground. "No, no, no, NOO!" Rick screamed as we both ran to Carl's unconsicous body while Shane kept watch, geting ready to fire at anyone who did a tragic thing.
