I was sitting on my bed, just reading a book when I heard a knock at my door. "Come in." I said. Carl walked in. "Hey Y/N! Wanna go to a drive?" He said excitedly. "Oh Sure!" I said getting up, putting my book on my nightstand. "Alrighty, let's go." He said. I followed behind him to one of the cars. He started the engine and we rode. We saw Enid with two walkers. Carl lost control of the car and we crashed into a pole. I squinted my eyes closed. "Carl, What the he-" I couldn't finish my sentence before he crashed into another pole behind us. He moved up a bit and rolled down the window. "What are you doing here?" Enid said, surprised. "Felt like a drive." He replied. So this is what he mean't by a "drive."

I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. "Y/N! Hey!" Enid said. I looked her way and said hello. Jealousy filled me. "Well uh I should be going." Enid said and she walked away. "Y/N, what was that about?" Carl said. "What do you mean?" "You were so rude. You didn't even look her in the eyes when you said hello to her." Carl stated. "So?" So, it was rude." "Well maybe don't take me on a drive if you're only going after Enid damn it." I said. "I uh, no Y/N. I wasn't going after Enid. I wanted to show you something." I was confused but then he drove off into a beautiful lake. He opened the door for me and led me to the beautiful lake. "I wanted to show you this, to show you how much I love you." "C-Carl.. I don't even have the words to thank you." I said back. "No need. I wanted to show you this for a long time." He pulled me into a kiss.

I grabbed his neck and he grabbed my waist. We broke apart a few seconds later. "C'mon, let's continue our drive." I nodded and he opened the door like the gentlemen he his.

We drove to a already full department store. We grabbed our guns to shoot any unwanted surprises. I kicked the door open and I saw a walker. I immediatly shot it. No more walkers in sight. We made our way in and walked around. I went upstairs to find some shoes. Boy shoes. I walked down the stairs and hid the shoes behind my back. Carl was doing the same too. "I have a surprise for you." We said at the same time. We both smiled. "Okay, one, two, three!" We both revealed our items. He found this sapphire necklace. "Omg, it's so pretty. Carl thank you!" "Thank you too, these shoes are so cool." He said kicking off his old shoes and putting the new ones on. It was a black and gray one. We made our way back to the car and drove back to Alexandria. Rosita opened the gate and we got out. He dragged me to our house. We both sat on the couch. He grabbed me by the shoulder and put his head on mine. "I love you so much, Y/N." Carl stated. "I love you too, Carl." I kissed him on the cheek and we fell asleep that way.
