Love is when you smile at me and I know that I am safe.
Love is when you comfort me, as we fly through space
Love is "just like old times" your favorite catch phrase
Love is promising I'll love you til my dying days
Love is knowing that you'll always have my six
Even when the battle field is nothing but charred bits
Even though you calibrate for hours on end
Love is knowing that you are my truest friend
Love is dodging bullets and pulling you into cover
And afterwards we know that we can heal each other
Love is seeing past your appearance and straight into your soul
Without you my archangel my heart would have a hole
