You held your knees to your chest,

Sitting on the grass,

Everyone was up early wanting to play volleyball, you were kinda too tall to play...

The warm sun on your skin felt nice while listening to the birds, and having the wind blow on your skin to.

You lift your head up slowly resting your chin on your knees, watching them play volleyball..

Shadows pov

I see y/n and walk towards her, but I stepped on a stick...nice move shadow.

She turned around and said

"Hey shadow"

And turned back around

I didn't reply because I'm still wondering how I'm gonna tell her this.

I walk next to her and sat down with my legs stretched out, I looked down at the grass

Your pov

I laid down on the grass waiting for him to speak or is he waiting for me to speak?

"You doin good?"
I say

I look over at him he nodded his head yes, I found it adorable the way his ears move every time he moves his head.

"Y/n."

He said

"Yea?"

"Can I tell you something?"

"Yeah of course!"

Shadows pov

She'll understand...she's caring...so hopefully she'll know what I mean.

"You remind me of this girl...not how she acts and not how she looks...it's just how I feel around you but..."

"But?"

"It's feels different when I'm around you I just don't know like I want to be around you more."

Your pov

Does he mean love? Nahhhhh... he's a hedgehog he wouldn't love me.

Shadows pov

Is this love.

Yes I think so.

"Y/n, this is so weird for me to say...but I love you."

Your pov
I guess I was wrong, "I love you to hedgehog..."

I say he smiled I gasped "what's wrong?"

"You smiled!"

That made him smile more he laid next to me and closed his eyes, "I feel so relaxed around you y/n."
He said, I smiled "I feel so loved and relaxed around you."

I say

I didn't hear a response in a few minutes, I looked over towards him and saw that he was asleep next to me, adorable.

I turn over so I'm facing him, but I'm not gonna stare at him like a weirdo, I'm gonna take a nap to it's nice outside and it'll feel nice.

I close my eyes and think about him, it was hard to drift off sleep...but I fell asleep.

Sonics pov

I lost another game to Amy...when did I get so bad?  She joked about it then said we could have some tea at her house.

So we we're walking there until I saw something off,
Shadow? y/n?  "Amy wait."

"Yeah?"

I grabbed her hand and did a small point over by shadow and y/n, she gasped "Awww!"

"I'm literally so shocked right now."

I say,

"Let's just go drink some of your tea..."

Amy was still staring, so I just dragged her to the house.
