Unmovable Storm meets the Rain Force

Chapter 5

Rain was ready... or so he thought...

He has been looking forward to that day for weeks now, making small secret preparations here and there and praying to every deity there that Phayu wouldn't notice a thing...

"Start small and really away from him, don't act suspicious..."

Sky advised when he was discussing with him if he would be willing to help him prepare...

"What do you have in mind ?"

"A Cake and a gift... I am not sure whether they would want me to invite anyone or not... I don't want to go over the top... they both wouldn't like that..."

Sky nodded... He and Prapai were not intending to intrude anyway...

"Gift is ready ?"

Rain nodded, He prepared a gift(S) because Saifah had been an amazing big brother to him, and he is Phayu's twin... he cannot just ignore him... and he and Prapai are like the dynamic trio for P'Pakin... so... Phayu gets a gift and Saifah gets a gift...

those 2 gifts are currently sitting safely in Sky's dorm room... the issue at hand was the cake and it was really hard to settle on what to do...

Rain wanted to make a strawberry cake... he did it before and know he can pull it off... but it turned out that Saifah is allergic to strawberries... so that went to the trash...

He asked Phayu want kind of Cake Saifah would like during one of their cafe dates...

"He likes cherry cakes... any sort of cake with cherries on it... no matter what kind..."

that just sent Rain reeling because Phayu loved chocolate cakes... who was he supposed to make both now... he went on a searching spree in order to figure it out...

a couple of days later he found the answer while he was with Sky and Sig in a cafe... the answer was staring at him from the cafe glass case...

"Excuse me! What is this ?"

"Oh... this is black forest cake, sir... it has chocolate, cherry and cream..."

a light bulb went on in his head...

"Can I have some please ?"

He sat with Sky and Sig and dissected the cake... it was truly delicious... the perfect mix of cherry and chocolate... he thinks he can pull it off as well, it's just a chocolate cake with cherry filling so he can definitely pull it off...

he spent the rest of the day happy with his friends, in his mind, there was already a list of ingredients forming...

The only problem now was where the hell can he bake it...

He cannot bake it at home, his mother would tell Phayu in a second, she takes great pride in the fact that Rain can cook and she would not be able to hold back on telling Phayu...

He cannot bake it at Sky's because he doesn't have the oven needed, Pai offered his house but that was a no already... he would not go into Prapai's house to bake, that's really ridiculous...

The only thing that can be done was that he bakes it at Phayu's home, but that would require elaborate planning, and elaborate planning would require Prapai and Sky to pitch in...

"So here's the thing, next Friday, P'Prapai will Keep P'Saifah and P'Phayu busy at the garage, till we give him the ok to come back with them here... You and I have the last 2 periods free so we should get an early start..."

"I am on board... Just are you sure you can pull it off ?"

"C'mon, Sky... Of course, I can pull it off..."
