Unmovable Storm meets the Rain Force

Chapter 4

There was a new wave of projects in the firm, and Phayu was stuck there working night and day in an endless loop... he barely had time to go home let alone eat...

and by some cosmic coincidence, Rain was equally stuck between assignments, quizzes, and student club activities... which meant that they barely managed to see each other let alone sleep in the same bed, because Rain and Sky were having marathon study sessions in Sky's dorm...

Much to Prapai's dismay as well, he had to spend his nights alone in his parents' home and was sulking endlessly about how he cannot sleep at all... Phayu took great pleasure in his misery... Payback is a bitch after all...

This also meant that Phayu was coming home every night in the dead of night to a cold empty house... if that was not depressing he didn't know what could be worse...

So other than horribly missing Rain, Phayu felt like he was about to go insane, his cool exterior was about to snap, they were having the worst client ever, and whenever they did something, the client wanted the other option, so it was an endless loop of doing and then redoing, doing and then redoing... without ever coming even close to ending the project anytime in the foreseen future... it was straining beyond belief and it was sitting the entire firm on edge on their sanity...

so Rain and Phayu opted for texting and phone calls in order to be able to make sure they both were ok, and Rain could tell Phayu was about to snap, Not that he was taking it out on Rain... Phayu would never ever do such a thing... but he could tell that the entire thing was taking its toll on his mental capacity... Phayu was addicted to that Phone call break during Lunch every day... to hear Rain blubber about his day and how he was doing, was the closest thing to comfort for him.

Rain was worried as well... because Saifah told him that he cannot recall the last time he saw Phayu eat at home... and despite Phayu telling him that he usually just grabs a quick bite while working before he shuffles to the race circuit

So Rain had to intervene...

The day already had started badly for Phayu, he came home the previous night close to Dawn after the race and barely had a couple of hours of sleep, didn't even message or checked Rain since the lunch break the previous day... moreover, the client was being a piece of work that day, and close to every detail regarding the project needed to be done again from scratch... the higher-ups were considering to drop the client altogether...

which resulted in an endless series of calls, meetings, and memos flying all over the place... Phayu was just making his way out of one of the meetings when he glimpsed someone sitting at his desk... he hurried over to shoo whoever was intruding on his personal space...

It was Rain... Rain was sitting on his desk... playing with his phone, he seemed to have been waiting for a while... there were several boxes of Tupperware sitting on his desk as well... when Rain felt eyes on him he looked away from his phone... and the smile he gave Phayu when their gaze met could have killed Phayu instantly... he was like a sun and Phayu didn't know what to do with all the light that came in his eyes...

"Rain!! What are you doing here ?? Are you ok ?? Is there anything wrong ??"

Rain was quick to soothe Phayu...

"I am fine, P'Phayu, I just missed you so much, so packed your lunch for you..."

"Lunch ??"

"Yeah, P'Phayu... Lunch... so instead of a Phone call today, maybe we can have your lunch break face to face ??"

Phayu was shell-shocked... He wanted to devour the boy right on that goddamn desk... Manners and workplace be damned...

"P'Phayu? Should I leave? Did I make a mistake by coming here?"

Rain's smile fell and he seemed concerned that he did something wrong... Phayu felt a bang in his heart...

As if Rain can be anything other than absolutely amazing...

He tugged Rain's hand in his and dragged him all the way to the car, Tupperware, lunch, and job be damned... he wanted the boy, right that second...

"P'Phayu? What's wrong? Where are you going?"

"I need you... now... or I might go insane..."

Rain blushed...

"But it's your workplace, P'Phayu... We cannot do that here..."

"I am taking the rest of the day off..."

"What ??? P'Phayu ???"

He texted his manager that something came up and he has to run to the house immediately, promised to work at home and send the due segments tonight... he got his Ok and drove out of the parking lot...

"P'Phayu ?"

"Rain... I am going to snap... please don't say a single word till we are home... I am not sure what I would do if those pretty lips of yours move again..."

Rain was torn between being utterly scared or utterly excited... He was silent till Phayu parked the car in the driveway and made his way inside the house dragging Rain in with him...

The second the door closed he picked Rain up and pinned him to the wall and devoured his lips...

"My sweet... Sweet boy... coming to my rescue with Home cooked meal... do you want to kill me, Darling? don't you know how much I missed you... don't you know how desperate am I for you, darling?"

"I... I... Missed you too... P'Phayu... Needed.... Needed you..."

"Oh my sweet boy, P'Phayu will take very very good care of you..."

Phayu was satiated, calm, relaxed, and really really in love... it has been weeks since he had Rain for more than a quick kiss and that was way too long for his sanity to remain intact... he devoured Rain... He took his sweet time with the boy till he was a whimpering moaning mess underneath him... and then fucked Rain into the mattress to his heart's desire...

They were currently tangled together in bed, Rain tucked safely in his arms... he was deeply asleep... Phayu was dead tired but he wanted to take his fill of looking at Rain... he missed him too much...

every time he thought about those Tupperware on his desk and Rain's smiling face after those horrible weeks and those endless meetings something in him fuzzed with love and something possessive took over... Rain was his... and only his...

He mentally promised himself to check the boy more thoroughly once he woke up, both of them didn't eat anything and he had no idea how Rain's assignments were going... moreover he needs to wrap up the segments he promised to finalize...

but just a few more minutes like this with Rain and then he would get to it...

he twisted to grab his phone to check if there were any messages from work... and grumbled slightly when he found one... but slowly smiled as he read the message...

it turned out that the higher-ups were fed up with the client and his demands and made an official attempt to break the contract, which resulted in the client shrinking back on them and taking the first proposed drawings... much to Phayu's comfort... so now no one expected him to handover anything, moreover... he is not expected at work the next day... they expect him to take the day off to rest for a bit before coming back the day after...

He dropped the phone back and stared at Rain in wonder... He must have used his entire quota for luck... there's no way he got his boy in his arms and his job off his back... he must have done some serious good deeds in his previous life...

Phayu mentally revised the plan...

Enjoy some sleep by Rain's side, Eat Dinner by Rain's side and maybe do some mischief again later... he has a day off tomorrow anyway...

with that happy plan, Phayu's eyes slipped close and he fell asleep before he even knew it...
