Vic

"Oh, my God. My quads are broken." I complained.

Warren opened the Fridge.

"Nothing like punishment sprints to make your body hate you." He commented.

Warren shut the Fridge.

"So do we think that, uh... Sullivan might have accused Beckett of drinking on the job as, like, a power play?" Gibson questioned.

"Oh, I really don't want to believe that." Warren responded.

"Or he was drinking on the job, right?" I questioned.

"But the pee test was clean." He pointed out.

"Today. You really think?" Gibson questioned.

"Beckett's sloppy sometimes. He's always cranky." I pointed out.

"And addicts know addicts." Warren pointed out.

"Yeah or Sullivan just wanted that Captain job again." Gibson gave his opinion.

Gibson

I had a text from Maya.

"Need to talk to you. Outside. ASAP. Please!"

"Oh, boy."

I stood up.

"Looks like Bishop is having a nervous breakdown."

"Uh-oh." Vic commented.

Maya

Jack joined Carina and me.

"Are we gonna blackmail somebody out here?"

I chuckled.

"No. I-- I wanted to meet up on the roof, but Beckett's up there, brooding out into the night, so..."

"So, we're staging a coup." He guessed.

"Ah, trust me. I wanted to after that crap with t-- The sprints." She replied.

"Yeah, I know. Much too reminiscent of my childhood for me to, uh... Process that right now. But that is not why we're here. We-- We just wanted to, um-- We-- We want to, uh, ask you, um, for your..."

"Sperm. Your sperm." Carina finished the question.

"Do you remember when you told me you waste a lot of it?" She questioned.

"Well, we would like to take you up on your offer to be our donor."

"What she said."

"Okay. Uh... W-- What?"

"We decided that we don't want it to just be some random donor from a catalogue. That we want it to be somebody that we know and we want you."

"Yes."

"My-- My sperm."

"Yeah."

A guy arrived.

"Jeremy?" I questioned, recognizing him.

"Hey."

"Hi."

"Jeremy?"

"What happened?" Jack questioned.

"Oh, my God."

"I..."

"Jeremy."

He breathed heavily.

"Hey."

We walked into 19 with him.

"S-- So, who is this girl you got in a fight with?"

"Um... I'm not sure. Maddox knew her."

"Oh."

"Are you injured?"

"Um... I don't think so. I--"

"Let me see."

"No. No, no, no. No, no, no. His body is evidence."

"I just--"

"I-I-I-I hit her. I- I fought her off."

"Thank God."

"Hey, look. I'm not gonna touch you, but, Jeremy, d-- Did you hit your head?" Warren questioned.

"You need-- You need to take the Aid car."

"Why?" Vic questioned.

"T-- T-- The girl. She's on the ground. I hurt her. She's-- She's-- She was bleeding. Um... Please, go. Go."

"Okay, we got it."

"It's-- It's in the parking lot behind Joe's Bar."

Sullivan and me ran out.

"We got it!"

"Jeremy, I-- I'm gonna call this into the Police. So, they can get a statement from you. Is that okay with you?"
