"Her pulse is barely there." Vic informed.
"Hey. How long does it take to go around the block, huh?!" I called up to Maya.
She didn't answer.
"Okay. Pulling up. Pulling up." Vic told me.
"Come on. Come on!" I told Andy.
Sutton opened the Aid Car doors.
"Let's go!" Vic ordered.
"Come on, come on, come on!" I ordered.
"32 year old female with significant head injury and a surgical airway. Arrested in the field. Now with ROSC." Vic informed.
"How long has she been down?" Teddy questioned.
"Maybe 15." I answered.
"Pulse came back three minutes ago."
"Alright. Got it. Let me in there."
Sutton moved aside.
"Thank you."
We were rolling the gurney into Grey Sloan.
"You have to keep her alive, okay?" I questioned.
"That's usually the goal." She replied.
"No, no. This girl, she-- She's a victim of rape."
"Okay."
"And if she dies--"
"They got it. They got it, Sullivan." Vic told me.
"I know, I know. Don't let her die."
"We need a family member's consent to do a rape kit."
"She doesn't have family in Seattle."
"Get me her proxy."
"Yeah."
The nurse rushed off.
She returned.
"She listed... Maya DeLuca-Bishop as her proxy in the instance if she wasn't able to make medical decisions for herself."
"Bishop!"
Bishop ran in.
"What?'
"Sign this form."
"What is it?"
"Consent to do a rape kit."
"It's you or waiting for Sandra, Johnny, or Michelle to get here from New York." I whispered to her.
Maya signed the form.
"You know what?" Teddy questioned.
"Give us some space." She told me.
"Okay. Sullivan, come on."
"Why don't you guys wait in the ambulance bay and I will update you?" Teddy suggested.
"No, look-- You-- Listen, you don't understand."
"Sullivan, stop."
"You guys did your job. Let me do mine, okay?"
"It's okay."
"Thank you. Thank you."
The doors shut.
I had my hands on my head.
"Sully, they got it. They got it." Vic told me.
