Margaux's POV

2 weeks have passed since the first day of school. And within that 2 weeks, we got many things done, like quizzes, assessments, and projects.

But today, the professor gave us a little bit of a sore in the head project. It is about making a music video for the upcoming event of the university, Foundation Week. It is not only a simple event but also a battle between students. The winner gets credit points, and if you have a huge amount of points, you will be exempted from any quizzes, assessments, and projects for each subject. In addition, they will give you a 5,000 pesos voucher for food.

The project is called 'Musical - Literary Contest' and of course, the student council is one of the masterminds of this together with the professors.

Since we are Mass Communication students, we need to prove that we are capable of doing film-making and that is why we are given this task. Additionally, the university supports cancer patients to make them happy by hosting a musical literary contest. This project can be performed by a maximum of 8 students and a minimum of 2.

As we're having our break, Helena eagerly asks, "What's our plan?".

" What plan?" I asked absentmindedly.

" For the project. Hello?"

" Uhhh. Ohh. " I thought about lunch.

" Why don't we ask Lucas to be in our group?" she insisted.

" Lu- Lucas, why?" I asked shocked.

Helena exclaimed, "He would be a great power and weapon for us to win.".

" Oh, up to you then" and in a flash, I saw her approach Lucas. He then looked at me and smiled.

I was annoyed when Helena screamed, ". He agreed, Oh my God, this is going to be exciting.". Is she still on her mind? Why do you squeal so much?

Hours have passed and it is time to go home now. When I reached home, I got a text message from an unknown number.

'Hello Margaux' it says.

I replied 'Who was this?' And in just a few seconds I saw a reply.

'It's Lucas, and don't forget our meeting this Saturday <insert smiley face>.

'Yeah, thanks.' I replied.

Saturday came and Helena and I are in the park right now waiting for Lucas.

"Is he still coming?" I asked annoyingly.

" Yeah, he texted me a while ago and he's on his way now" Helena answered.

"He should come earlier, it's almost lunch," I said almost angrily.

"Calm down Margaux" and she patted my back.

A car beeped and I saw the car I wanted to buy the other day. Oh, there he was. Psh.

"Hey, sorry I was late," he said.

" My eyes almost turned white while waiting for you" I mocked and he laughed.

" Oh really? Are you still alive? Or am I talking to a ghost?" he said and they both laughed.

" Yeah, whatever. " I said making a face at them.

We started planning for the project. So it is going to be like this. As the story unfolds, Helena will be the photographer, and Lucas and I will be the main actors. Since it's for cancer patients, we would like to give them a music video that will encourage them to live and be touched by the story. We are intending to make a cover for the song 'Without You' by AJ Rafael. A girl with cancer is the center of the meaning of this love song. She is fighting the battle every day and AJ's song is to encourage people who are fighting this kind of disease. To let them feel special, empowered, and valued. We saw the music video and it was beautifully directed. This is because it makes you think about what the images mean, and at the end of the video, you will be left with a deeper understanding.
