I can see things from a very different perspective, something that is very familiar to me.

I shifted my eyes toward my surroundings and realized that I was on a private plane. Why am I even here?

Aunt Luna was seated next to Uncle Tristan on the left side of the club seat. As I approached the window, I noticed the scenery outside was dark, probably midnight. Regardless of the reason, I felt uneasy. My heartbeat started to rise as I curiously looked through the window. I quickly pulled the shutters down and focused my attention on what was in front of me. I can only see two recliners and a tray table on my right side. The tail of the airplane looks like it has a bedroom, so I guess I'm facing backward.

"Cleared for visual, runway one seven"

We cleared to the Pacific Ocean via the departure of SKORR3, the RNGRR transition, and then as filed." Climb maintained five thousand. Departure frequency one-three-five, decimal nine, squawk four-seven-six-three."

As the pilots started reporting, the cabin crew began to serve our meals.

" Excuse me, Mr. and Mrs. Madrigal what would you like for your midnight snack? " the cabin crew asked.

I noticed that all of the crew are from an international background, Australian or American perhaps?

" Could you show me the menu, please? " Mom asked then smiled. The cabin crew gave Mom the brochure.

" Certainly," the cabin crew gave mom the brochure.

" Would you like some coffee, tea, or juice madam? " the cabin crew asked.

" Hot tea, I guess. What about you hon?" Mom asked dad. As soon as the cabin crew gave me hot tea to mom, she reached out to me and greeted me, and gave me the brochure.

My first impression of the food was that it seemed very tasty when I picked up the brochure. I picked banana cake with some juice.

As we ate our food, I heard the cabin crew talking.

" What is that smell?"

" I don't know but it smells like it's burning"

" Do you mind if we say it to Mr. Armeda?"

One of the cabin crew headed to the cockpit. And then a few moments later, one of the pilots was out to check something. I wonder what was happening.

I looked at pictures of me and Rayne on my iPad. Then I noticed my mom was beside me.

" Myles are you okay?" Mom asked.

" Yes, mom."

I was halfway eating my food when suddenly I heard a loud screech and the whole airplane was shaking.

" Mom, what was happening?"

I heard the pilots talking.

" Cabin crew please advise passengers to fasten their seatbelts"

" Scavac zero-six cleared to land on runway one-niner. There is a fault on our left wing"

I heard panic around the people behind me.

" Mom, what was happening?"

" I don't know"

One of the cabin crew approached us.

" Please brace yourself and put on oxygen masks and vests. We are preparing for landing"

" What was happening?" Mom asked frantically.
