Chapter 26: Hanging Out

(A/n: Chapter 26. Another chapter that I just threw out a random title 🥲. Anyway other than that I hope you guys enjoy. ;3)

~ Solar Eclipse's POV ~

Once I was back in the theater I call out to Lunar to let him know I'm back.

Solar(Eclipse): "Lunar, I'm back"

Lunar: "I'm still backstage. Never left"

Solar(Eclipse): "Alright"

I then once again head backstage. When I did I see Lunar sitting back in one of the bean bags playing games on a tablet I'm pretty sure. Seeing him like that makes me chuckle and since he looked comfortable I just started building the charger myself while Lunar continued to do whatever the hell he wanted.

Building and setting up the charger didn't take long. I finished setting it up in about an hour or 2. All I was doing now was the final things that needed to be tightened.

After that I placed the wrench back into the toolbox and closed it up. Once I placed it back in the box I stood up and stretched then checked my battery and the time on my arm's computer.

My battery was still good about 65% but I could go for a few more hours. When I also checked the time I saw that there was still a few more hours until the daycare closed. So with that in mind I turned my attention back to Lunar.

Solar(Eclipse): "Hey, I just finished"

Lunar: "That quickly?"

Solar(Eclipse): "Yep"

Lunar: "But... but you said we were gonna do it together..."

Solar(Eclipse): "I know, but I saw you were doing something and didn't wanna bother you. So I just did it myself. Got hyper focused on it and finished it rather quickly"

Lunar: ....

Solar(Eclipse): "Sorry brother"

Lunar: *sighs* "It's ok, like I would be able to do anything anyway I'm not smart..."

Solar(Eclipse): "Lunar..."

Lunar: "In fact I'm not as smart as you or Moon no one is. Plus you built me to be the dumb one anyway"

Solar(Eclipse): "Aw, don't say that Lunar. Yes I made you quote on quote "dumb" but that doesn't mean you are even if the old me said you were. But that was the past this is now I'm not like that anymore"

Lunar: "But..."

Solar(Eclipse): "Lunar, just because I said that in the past doesn't mean it's true. I don't want you thinking little of yourself. You're smart in your own individual way"

Lunar: ....

Solar(Eclipse): "Its true. One of the things I've never said but will now. You have a lot of emotional intelligence and that's a strength to have. It's something not a lot of people have but you do. You pick up on other people's emotions fairly quick and understand what they're feeling then try to make connections with them and help"

Lunar: ....

Solar(Eclipse): "In fact you've changed so much from the very day I made you back 6 months ago on August 11th. But it's a good change. I've noticed just by the few hours I've hung out with you that you've grown up a lot over the 6 months. One major thing I noticed is that you're slightly more mature and not as childish as you once were."

Lunar: .....

Solar(Eclipse): "It makes me realize that I actually programmed your AI to be smart enough to develop its own personality and continue to grow. The more it grows the smarter and more mature you become. And I'm honestly so very proud of you for that brother."

Lunar: "I... heh, thanks brother"

Solar(Eclipse): "You're welcome Lunar"

With that I see him give me a forced smile and I smile back.

Lunar: "Heh... I just remembered something"

Solar(Eclipse): "Yeah?"

Lunar: "Remember that game called "The Fridge Is Red" that we played back in October?"

Solar(Eclipse): "Yeah"
(A/n: What I'm about to reference btw mainly because this is my favorite animated version of that scene I've seen someone do XD)

Lunar: "Well remember that part in that one video where you said "What is that painting" and I replied with "Your mother"..."

Solar(Eclipse): *chuckles* "Yeah. And I responded with "We don't have a mother"..."

Lunar: "Mmhm and I brought up the point by saying "Aren't you technically my mom"..."

Solar(Eclipse): "Then I basically spat out the oil I was drinking and responded rather angrily by saying "Don't say that ever again in any context, in any video, in anything ever. You understand" and all that yeah..."

Lunar: "Well based on what you just told me about being proud of me... I'm gonna say it again... aren't you technically my mom. I mean with how you just talked to me..."

Solar(Eclipse): "Heh.... Yes, I am technically your mother in a sense. But please don't call me that I made you so I could be your brother and that's all"

Lunar: "So you admit it now don't you"

Solar(Eclipse): "I...*sighs*...yes... I guess I do"

I then hear him give a giggle and hug me making me sigh again but return it

Solar(Eclipse): "But please even if I do somewhat admit that I am technically your mother because of building you... please for the love of god don't call me that. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable"

Lunar: "Understandable..."

Solar(Eclipse): "Good."

After a short time Lunar and I pull away from the hug.

A/n:
Another chapter done. Chapter 27 should be out soon but idk when. To be honest chapter 27 might take a little longer to come out because I've currently been writing a oneshot called "His Secret Daughter" which was an idea I've had floating around in my head for about 2 months now. That oneshot has to do with another one of my Ocs named Twila who's the daughter of Moon and Luna. Anyway with that being said I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter it was approximately 1036 words in all by the end of it so until next time...
