~Day 26: Star Gazing~

After Killer left the Throne Room, no one had seen him since. It was already dusk and Nightmare wonders where he had gone and started to get worried

The King wonders why he is so worried about his subordinate's whereabouts and started to get frustrated

There is also a strong wave of negativity emitting from somewhere within the castle but it seems like Nightmare isn't able to trace it down

'Maybe finding Killer will help me locate where the negative energy is coming from..' Nightmare thought

He had asked the maids, the butlers, the guards, everyone! Yet no one knows where Killer is!!

Nightmare approached the same maid who helped them with the fecade and asked if she knew where Killer had gone

"Hm, I think I saw him head up to the rooftop sire, maybe checking up there" the Kind did not waste any more time and headed straight to the rooftop

He climbed a flight of many stairs but eventually came face to face with the door leading to the rooftop. He slowly opened the door and wandered out, feeling the negative energy getting stronger as well

The further he walks, the stronger the negative energy gets, until he eventually found Killer, sitting against a wall, head on his knees

Realizing that the negative energy came from Killer, the King slowly approaches him thinking as to why is Killer is upset

He sat beside him making the other peek, and as Killer saw Nightmare, he ducks downs again in embarrassment.

"W-What are you doing here boss.." Killer faintly said as he tried to stop his tears from falling

"I was looking for you, never would've thought you'd be here.." the King admitted despite being a little embarrassed

"You should go.." Killer said despite his tiny sobs as Nightmare looks at him with confusion

"A King like you shouldn't waste your time to a waste like me..." Killer burried his head once again and tried to wipe his tears away

Nightmare stayed quiet as he looks at Killer who is trying not to cry in front of the King

"Killer.." Nightmare muttered but he sighed after "I can feel the negativity from you and it's strong" the sobs soon died down but Killer didn't look up. Nightmare only continued on "Tell me, why are you upset?"

Killer grips the dress he is wearing as he tries to hold his tears, eventually he grunts from frustration

"Tell me, what is this about-" "It's because of what happened!!" Killer yelled as he leaned further on the wall, few tears visibly staining his face

"It's about what happened okay? I was stupid enough to actually believe I'm your lover.. even though everything was fake...." Killer sniffles as he tries to not cry "I was dumb. Stupid. An idiot. It is also the fact the way they treated me, it felt irritating and yet I let whatever shitty thing they said come to my head..." To speak the truth, Nightmare was a little hurt "I can't believe I did those stupid things.." Killer sighed as he lowered his head

Nightmare could perfectly comprehend what Killer is feeling, other than anger, sadness, and denial, there were other emotions he can't seem to understand, and this confused his more

"Look" Nightmare started, not knowing exactly where he is going. "I-.. dealt with them after you left, I banished them.." Killer leaned back, hugging his knees "What's the point.. Now you've made enemies because of me"

Nightmare sighed, he really doesn't have any clue on how to handle this, it's all new to him!
