Jaeyu heads out to meet Suni but had to go to the supermarket to get snacks. Eventually Jaeyu got to the park where he saw Suni. He smiled and went to the swings.
"Hey Sunny!" He said.
Suni smiled, "My name is Suni not Sunny" she jokingly said.
"Okay...Sunny! I got some snacks for you" Jaeyu said.
They were eating their ice cream when the curious boy decided to ask a question.
"Suni why weren't you here all week" He said.
"Actually... my mom is sick and lately she hasn't been getting better so I took a week off to go home." She said.
Suddenly Jaeyu gave her a hug because he couldn't help seeing her down.
_suni 's pov
As I tried to hold back tears, Jaeyu suddenly hugged me. I started bursting tears and wrapped myself around his body.
10 minutes passes by...
Finally I stopped and let go of his embrace.
" thank you." I said
"if you ever need to cry, come to me!" He said.
"Hurry up now your ice-cream is dripping!!!" Jaeyu said to me.
We laughed and ran after each other, trying to get ice cream on our face.
"OUCH" Jaeyu said.
"ARE YOU OKAY?" I said.
"GOTCHU!" He tricked me and got ice cream on my face.
We sat there for some time to calm down from running so much. He was staring at the night sky while I couldn't help looking at how handsome he looked. His eyes were like stars shining in the dark.
_jaeyu 's pov
While I was staring into the night sky, I felt her starring at me. I couldn't help the nervousness I felt. I looked at her gaze and we just stared at each other.
_suni 's pov
My heart starting beating really fast so I broke eye contact.
"I gotta go now" I said.
"I'll walk you back home." He said
Once I got back home and got ready to go to sleep I got a text message from him.
[goodnight.]
11:40 p.m
I felt butterflies in my stomach but texted him back.
