Who Gets Happy?

Judge Twinkle Bellhop sat behind her desk. Her emerald green eyes scanned the three creatures standing before her. She cleared her throat.

Twinkle Bellhop says, "Today we are gathered to discuss the custody of baby Happy Inkwell. Tyler Dream, Walter Leech, and Vincent Everstone you all argue that you should have custody of Happy. It is my duty to weigh the evidence presented and make a ruling based on the best interest of the orphaned bird."

":... Why are we doing this in this universe? Why can't we do it on the world I own?" Vincent Everstone asks.

Twinkle responds, "Happy currently resides in this universe so the case will take place here. Vincent Everstone, since you decided to speak up first, why don't you present your case first?"

Tinklebottom says, "I had Happy first, he was left on my door and I should have him as I'm the only one with legally binding papers saying he's my son."

Twinkle asks, "And do you have these papers with you?"

Vincent Everstone holds up the papers.

Twinkle says, "Jeremy, hand me those papers."

Jeremy, a pink haired feline-like creature, wearing blue police uniform, hands the papers to Twinkle. Twinkle begins reading the papers.

Tyler Dream, a black cat wearing a vibrant red suit jacket and red suit pants, raises his paw and says, "I don't believe those papers should be legally binding in this universe."

Vincent says, "If I lose this case, I'm going to invade this universe to get my son back!"

Tyler says, "I want to point out that Happy showed up in the middle of the street in my universe, abandoned."

The TV audience gasps.

Twinkle asks, "Mr. Everstone, is this true?"

Vincent shouts, "I didn't do that! He was missing one day and I discovered this billionaire baby had taken him!"

Tyler says, "Judge, I have taken care of this baby. I have fed him, bathed him, changed his diapers, taught him how to talk for years. I love this baby as my son."

Walter Leech, a black vulture wearing a black suit and top hat, says, "My wife here has done all that, yes, but he's my son!"

Twinkle Bellhop asks, "Mr. Leech, are you and the defendant Mr. Dream in a committed relationship?"

Mr. Leech says, "Mr Dream is her father, that's my wife."

The black cat says to the judge, "You can call me Tyler."

Twinkle asks, "Okay. So you and Tyler are in a committed relationship then?"

"We were until she cheated on me with her father!" Walter shouts.

The TV audience gasps.

Tyler says, "It was not my father, it was my professor, and we were in an open relationship."

Walter says, "Sleeping with your professor who acts like your father is still wrong and I don't remember you ever add him to our harem. Especially since you are sleeping with your daughter!"

The TV audience gasps.

Tyler blushes and meekly says, "She's...not my real daughter."

"Oh yeah!? Then why does she have your green eyes!?" Walter asks.

Tyler responds, "She has a glowing green tongue too but that's not mine."

Walter asks, ".. Why does she live in our house and Why Happy call her 'Sissy?'"
