" why isn't she crying!" the voice of her father ringed through her ears, athanasia opened her eyes only to see the emperor staring at her with disgusted but intrigued eyes, she rolled her eyes forgetting she's supposed to cry during these times, oh I forgot I'm supposed to cry during these situations

" I- I- I don't know your majesty" lily stuttered trembling with fear for her and her princess's life, will the emperor kill them?, luckily athanasia began to cry to save lily from being killed too soon

" give her to me" Claude demanded Lily reluctantly complied handing the princess to her father, as Claude holds her, athanasia continued to cry as if she does Claude will push her away from his sight, it's best if Claude shows no interest towards as the further he pushes her away the better her life will be at peace

a woman walked up behind Claude and wrapped her sly arms around his, it was amaris her future stepmother or who she likes to call, the home wreck whore who has no self love, athanasia could feel the burning hatred in her soon to be stepmother's eyes that was masked with happiness

" what did she name her?"she asked curious looking at her father for answers

" Athanasia" her father answered with mockery as he didn't share the name that means immortality, Amaris eyes widen clearly surprised by the name

" Athanasia? But that name- Diana has always been too bold, will she keep her name" one of the things amaris hated about her, was her name, she was named an immortal name without any protest from Claude, unlike when Ambroise was born Claude was hesitant about his name. Claude gave her back to lily who breathe out relief as she didn't want her to be held by Claude who looked las if he was contemplating on dropping her on purpose

" what is done is done, let's leave" Claude turned away and left without a second word, the halls were filled with blood of dead concubines and servants, athanasia stopped her fake crying and stared at amaris who was glaring at her with mockery, she returned the favor which cause her to be taken back by a  glare from a newborn baby, two can play that game whore, Athanasia thought to herself. Amaris turned back to leave but before she left, she gave orders to the guards who were standing finished with their orders

" clean this up, burn the concubines bodies, and as for the mother toss her body in the woods" with that she left, if Athanasia wasn't back into a her newborn she would've found a way to kill her once again

" that witch" lily muttered disgusted, still trembling with fear, she looked at the baby she's holding with her dear life

" it's okay princess I'll protect you with all my life" she smiled. Athanasia looked at her with pitiful eyes knowing it's true, lily's loyalty was always the cause of her death, it's one thing that Athanasia admired and hated, just give up on me she wanted to say before yawning feeling sleepy thanks to her new born state, she went back to sleep and Lilian looked at the remaining knights

"Please do not follow her order, bury her" she plead to the knights, they looked at her with pitiful eyes as they also do not want to carry out the orders they were give but it was the princess of siodonna, her status was higher than theirs
