Let's solve this riddle!

They are at the right side in the hallway they're at before hand moon was moving the stick around trying to see anything triggers and it did! A paper fall out under the painting, moon bends over to pickup the paper as he did he read it
"The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?" Says moon as he read the paper as he thinks for a moment not sure the right answer is or not?
"Oh! Oh is it uhhh ummm breadcrumbs??" Says sun asking to moon, before moon can respond back they heard a click and something was thrown at them moon duck down and look it was an axe 'how am I alive...' moon thought Sun was shocked and didn't know what to say but that sure did sceard him.
"Maybe that's not the right answer maybe... footsteps??" Says moon they heard an unlocked door, the door was black and looks old but new? Moon gets up and walks over to the door and opens the door, the room looks so different from other rooms he seen before the walls are red and the floor is black wooden floor he saw the bed he saw has a White sheet over and the blanket is red mix with black, 'this room is so beautiful' moon thought he looks around to find any paper for a riddle or some sort, sun on the other hand was just looking around to help moon! Moon was looking in the cabinets and shelves or chores tell he found a rose bud but there were no stems or anything but the rose looks like it's not been dead for so long the moon carefully picks up the rose bud and noticed it has a writing that looks like it's a long one on the inside moon opens the petals of the rose bud and starts reading.
"When I was playing Tag as a child, I got so mad at my sister that I hit her with a stick so hard I accidentally killed her.I was only 6 years old. I dragged her body to a nearby well and managed to push her in. The next day, I went back to the well and looked down.Her body was gone! It was like it never happened, I was so relieved.I lost my temper again when I was ten years old and hit my best friend over the head with a stone.It worked again and I didn’t get in trouble. Everyone was upset that he was gone, but I felt great.When I was 16, my girlfriend got pregnant and I didn’t need that kind of hassle.She wouldn’t leave me alone and that’s when I remembered the well. I killed her and threw her down the well. I came back the next day and her body was gone. Problem solved.I tried not to take advantage of the well, but the truth is I had many people that got in my way. Bosses, girlfriends, once even a valet attendant who stole from me.They all ended up in the well and they would all disappear.Eventually, I had to move back in with my mom and we argued one night. I lost my temper again and killed her. It was unfortunate, but I took her to the well and threw her in too.I went back the next day and her body was still there! I kept going back and it never disappeared. Do you know why?" Says moon reading the riddle he thinks a moment or more
"Wow this one is hard" says sun
"Yeah but we can solved it!" Says moon Sun nodded in agreement, moon continue thinking about this riddle, but who right that in a petal!? Moon thoughts why am I here, how did I get here so may thoughts coming in moons head wait no moon you have to get out of here! Moon nodded to himself sun was just looking at him thinking he is going crazy?
"Ummm moon? You alright??" Says sun
"Oh! Heh sorry I was thinking about stuff don't worry! Heh now I think I figured out this riddle, I think His mom had been cleaning up the bodies since he was 6 years old. She covered up for his crime. When he killed the mother, there was nobody to take her body away." Says moon Sun nods and about to say something tell they heard a click, they both looked around tell they see a small hallway in the room
"Now how are we going to fit in that??" Says sun moon gets up and looks at the small hallway as he squeeze in and slides to get out tell they both heard something broken in the room on moon's left side sun looks and whisper to moon
"Hurry the boogyman is here!!" Says sun moon nodded slowly and trys to crawl faster and slowly to get out the small hallway, moon sees the end and he finally squeezes out and noticed they're in the different floor?
"Umm sun where are we?" Says moon
"We are in the fourth floor!! We did it!!" Says sun in excitement with joy moon smiles happily
