Sasori's POV

Wow. Mother Mori died. I am sure Pein-sama will kill me. But at least the girl's alive, eh? That's the whole point of the job.

The girl cried as her mother died in her cradling arms. Actually I was quite happy and I snickered but as I just realized that her fate was just as same as me when I was little, without any parents to love anymore, pity striked at my heart and I stopped snickering and I regained my serious poisture and tugged her soft shirt.

"Oi, brat. Can't you just follow me? I do not like my patience being highly tested..." I growled threateningly at her and her sob stiffened.

"Sheesh, *sniff* how harsh of you. Don't you felt pity on us? I have no father, and now, I have no mother which meant that now I am an orphan..." her pathetic, innocent voice trailed off and I swear I felt my eyes stinging and a wet water which is called tears, came from my face and luckily, she didn't took notice of my tears and I quickly wiped my tears with my Akatsuki cloak and I cursed silently.

It was sad for her to really accepting the face that I killed her mother and she has to cope with her destiny....

So without any hesitation, I then used my chakra to concentrate Mother Mori's fresh corpse into a small, figurine puppet and the girl's eyes widened while staring at me doing my job to take care of her. She may not even realize what was that promise really meant but I do.

I knew how she felt so to make her happy, I've shrunk Mother Mori's body and turned her into a puppet.

As I was concentrating on making the puppet, the girl was amazed by how detailed my art was, well yeah. Of course! This is Asuna no Sasori! They didn't call me nuthin'!

And after I made a perfect puppet figurine of Mother Mori, I then gave it to the girl while tried my best to hide my blush. It was pretty wierd that I blushed. I never had these emotions before....

As I gave the puppet to her, she stopped crying and I saw hope in her eyes. She gently took the puppet figurine of Mother Mori and hugged it happily and she took a blushing glance at me.

"T-t-thanks, I never knew an a**hole like you would be so damn kind to a girl like me..." she stuttered and stammered while she was fidgeting around with her fingers with her black hair. I sighed and was a bit irritated but a bit warm at the same time. Such a girl...

Wow. Thanks for the harsh compliment, brat. I replied it in my heart while shot her an irritated look.

She giggled as she saw my reaction and came closer to me. Her face was so close to mine but luckily I was a master at making poker faces so I tried my best to NOT to blush and flustered about this. Her lips were close to my ear and I wondered what was she was doing next.....

"Danna, can you teach me this art?I think there might be a great chance that I may will be surpass tyou one day..." she whispered to my ear and at first I was just like yay in the inside but still, I was still in my poker face mode so I grandly said,

"Well then.... If you wanted to learn my art and surpass me, then you have to join the Akatsuki. And anyway, your mother would want you to have a better life so you have no choice but to join the Akatsuki." I stated matter-o-factly and she sighed.

"Well then.... If that's what you want me to do then, okay. Lead me to the Akatsuki!" Her face was bright with new hope and determination while she looked at the Mother Mori puppet figurine and I smiled at her. She IS annoying but sometimes she is who she is...
