The Shallow Pond

I stand up from the tree I was sitting under, there was no breeze today. "Such calm weather" I whisper to myself smiling. I walk down the hill deeper into the soul society as I stretch my hands behind my head. "Mph~" I groan as I put my arms to my side.

When making it down the path I get the sudden urge to look up. To my surprise something or someone breaks through the barrier, it doesn't worry me since they probably exploded on entry. I continue walking and feel Renji close by "Renji?" I echo through the empty area.

"There you are Yua" He says coming from behind, he looked worried "I saw it too, they didn't make i-" I get cut off suddenly "They're all alive" Renji says, I give a little look of shock but it quickly fades. "Captain Yamamoto called for all the divisions immediately." He says as he begins walking away. I nod and follow.

"I sense a weak spiritual energy coming from 3 different places I believe, these Ryoka are no threat to us." I say as I step into the building behind Renji, looking around at everyone. "Where's everyone at?" I ask to look back and see Renji was now gone.

"Seems they've gotten caught up in their own battles" Captain Aizen says and I nod then I stand next to Captain Byakuya. Most of the captains and their Lieutenants were already out on missions or going to tend to the Ryoka. "Lieutenant Iekami!" I hear someone call out to me. I quickly look up "Sorry captain" I say trying to quickly recollect myself. I look around to see I was the only one there.

"I was trying to tell you that I need you to go back up your division, seems their having a little trouble with those Ryoka" He says in a polite fashion. I nod "Will do sir" He smiles politely then nods indicating I can leave. I quickly run out towards the east direction where I sensed their spiritual pressure.

I find a boy with orange hair he was still unaware of my presence still. His spiritual pressure indicated his was far from the strength of a soul reaper but was still quite high for an ordinary human. I sneak up behind him and land besides him, he still doesn't notice me. "Go home, there's no place for you here" I whisper in his ear.

He jumps back and out of reflex he swings his sword, it's was quite large. "Your Zampakto is really big, how rare." I smirk in excitement. "Look, I'm not looking to fight with you just let me get to Rukia!" He demands holding his blade closer. "I can't let you do that, as Lieutenant of Company 6 it's my job to stop you.

"I guess I'll just have to cut you down" He says confidently. I smirk and untie my uniform to reach my stomach. "HEY JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" He quickly turns around and avoids looking at me. "Oh hush, I'm going to prove to you that you won't win this battle." I peel off the tag just a bit but even then I feel my spiritual energy come through it.

I can't feel his heart drop right before he drops to his side. "W-what is this..." He stutters. "Would you like me to actually try now? Or should I stop and spare you your life?" He wasn't responding he was barely surviving actually.

I quickly whip ny head around and close the tab completely while also re closing my robe. "What did Byakuya tell you about undoing the seal?" I see Renji standing over me. "I know but I didn't want to kill h-" "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF!?" He yells scaring me a bit "No..." I turn my head the other way and cross my arms. "Just get out of here and let me take care of him" He smirks still a but aggravated as he begins drawing his Zampakto. I nod and run off the see if Captain Byakuya needed help. Without even exchanging words they begin fighting.

I run to turn into a alley but I bump into someone. I look down to see them with their face in my chest, I didn't recognize this spiritual energy so I grab them by their hair and yank them back. "OW!" She cries trying to tear my hands off her head but I just grip harder with no remorse. I see a man behind her coming to attack but I quickly dodge effortlessly. I quickly run away still holding the girl by her hair as she cries out in pain. I stand on a rather tall building as I hold her over the edge by her hair.

"Leave now with your friends and never return or I'll drop you" I say impatiently waiting for an answer. Instead she thrusts her feet against the building causing us to both fall over. "You dam bitch!" I growl before I hit the grown with a thud causing the ground below me to crumble. I groan as I push my self up coughing up blood, I fell directly on my back. I see her running through the smoke and I smirk.

"Come out...Kami no Hana ha!" I pull my blade from her holster on my back, she was long and beautifully made. I take a deep breath and calm myself "Hell fire flame" I whisper and point my blade in a precise direction. "Burn her" my blade releases a long pink/red flame that cuts through the thick smoke and straight to the girl. "AH!" I hear her scream. I put my blade back in her holster.

I walk through the smoke to see a yellow shield being admitted from her hand. "I was sure I killed her.." I think to myself. My eyes widen in shock, she was re attaching her arm to her shoulder. "I guess I'll just have to cut you again" She quickly gets up and begins running but my poison will catch her and end this.
