I waved at my friends and called out good-byes as the train left the station back to ponyville, for once without me. Even Spike had gone back, to sell the library, but until then it was just me and the princesses.
A lone tear fell down my check until it was magically levitated away. "Twilight. Don't cry. You will see them all again soon." I sat on my haunches, but then turned to look at my cutie mark. It was tingling. I suddenly noticed a new small white star on my cutie mark.
"Celestia. Does everypony's cutie mark change when they become an Alicorn?" Celestia looked at my cutie mark. "I don't know. We were all born Alicorns. I've never actually seen some pony change before."
I put it to the back of my mind. I would ponder it later. "Let's get inside. It's getting cold out." Celestia nodded, trying to hide her emotions behind her princess face, but after a few years of being her student, I always could tell how she was feeling.
Everypony bowed to us as we passed and I couldn't stop blushing. We were just walking down the street.
The castle almost seemed alive today, the day after my coronation. "Celestia, I'd like to stop off at the library, see if I can get some good reading books." She smiled. "Sure. Go ahead, my little princess." I smiled back and walked off toward the Canterlot library. I laughed thinking of that time that Spike, Pinkie and me had stolen into the library to find a time spell. I was almost crying it was so funny, just me being the old me!
At the library I found a good selection of books, six in total. I checked them out, but didn't have time to put them all in my saddle bags. Celestia expected me at four sharp, and it was already 3:50! I balanced the books in my magic (reading the book closest to me) when I bumped into another pony.
We both fell on our rumps and I quickly apologised, reaching for my book. He had the exact same one. Our hooves met, then our eyes, and he was the most handsome pony I had ever met. "Umm." He quickly backed away, leaving me to pick up my books quickly. "Sorry." I said. "It's ok, it was my fault anyway. The name's _______ by the way!" "Twilight." I said getting my last book. "Sorry again, but I have to go." I turned and ran off. He shouted a bye after me, which I quickly returned, before my attention returned to Celestia.
A/N:If anypony has names for this mysterious stallion, then please comment below! I will add the best one! Also, sorry for it being short. I already have it written (by that I mean half of it is in my head, the only actual written part is what you see above), I just need to have it in the right amount so the passing of time is correct! And thanks for reading!
