Hey, i'm just trying out this book, it might not work but i'll see if you like it, please check out my other books. I have a HP fanfics and another one of my own so please read and enjoy.

Chapter 1Arianna Morley (also known as Ana) is a normal girl 14 year old girl, with long black hair and silvery-grey eyes, but this story is not about her, it’s about me. I’m Arianna’s 7 minute younger identical twin, Cassie, but we’re not quite identical. For instance, I have wavy hair and hers is dead straight, she’s never had a detention where as I get one every other week. My mum, June is more like Arianna , shy but clever and my dad Callum is more like me, sneaky and playful; I look like him too, he has wild black hair like me and our eyes are the same which people say must hold many secrets. I have an older brother as well called Jake who is 16.

“Arianna, come down to the den with me!” I call down the stairs

“Ok, I’m coming” she shouts back

“Mum we’re going down to the woods for an hour or so” I tell her before exiting the house behind Arianna.

The den is a tree house we made with grandpa when we were 5 and we always have and always will go there. I remember Arianna hitting her thumb with the hammer and then she ran off crying saying it was my fault.

“Last one to the den is a rotten egg!” Ana interrupting my thoughts and she started running. I laughed and ran as well; I’m quite a bit faster than her so I overtook within seconds and got to the den first.

We take that phrase quite seriously, that’s why we have a couple of boxes of old rotting eggs waiting to be thrown at the looser. Grabbing one I dump it on her head,

“It’s unfair, you always win” she moaned and stuck her bottom lip out like a small child which makes us both laugh and start an egg fight. 10 minutes later we had used up all the eggs and with sore cheeks from laughing so much, we trudged home.

“That was quick” says Jake as we open the door

“We had an egg fight, der” I reply pointing to my eggy hair. “Anyway where are you going? And what’s with the rose?”

“Just going down to the woods” he tries to say coolly

“Sure” Arianna and I say in unison and let him go.

The next day as we come back from the den the same thing happens, but Jake doesn’t have a rose this time. He just disappears into the forest and comes back smiling to himself and neither Arianna nor I know where he’s going or what he’s doing. Tonight Jake still isn’t back yet and Arianna and I are both in bed,

“Cassie, I’m scared. What if he’s lost or hurt” mutters Arianna who has always been quite close to our elder brother

“He’s fine, I promise” I try to assure her, but I don’t know if that’s true or not. “I’m going to follow him tomorrow and see where he goes.”

“He told us yesterday , he’s been going to the woods to hang out with some mates.” she whispers

“Yes, well I’m going to see if it’s true” I say, knowing that Jake was probably lying to us.

“He could be doing anything, it might be private” she protests

“I won’t stay long I promise, but I have to know” I finish and turn in my bed to face the wall so she knows the conversation has finished.

Hope you enjoyed it
