The BAU had just finished another case on a Thursday night, all the members went home wanting some sleep, all except the Unit Chief, Aaron Hotchner, he went back to complete some paperwork. Once he had finished writing the last few words he began to pack up and the phone started to ring, it was his personal, with an unknown number "Hello?" He answered unsure of who it is "Aaron Hotchner or Hotch, can I call you that?" Hotch began to wonder who it was "Who is-" He stopped "Remember your sweet little JJ, just wanted to let you know she is alive and well" Hotch stopped and began to think about how different the BAU is without JJ "Is she alive?" He asked wanting to hear her voice "You don't trust me do you Hotchner? I will put the blonde on the phone just for you" He said sounding like he wants to prove himself, a few seconds later he heard a faint, weak voice on the phone "Hello?" Hotch heard the voice recognising it instantly "JJ? are you okay?!" He said very worried about her "Yeah I'm okay Hotch, just-" She stopped and let out a deep breath "Help me Aaron" A broken JJ said, her voice cracking "JJ, I promise I will find you, it'll be okay" He said trying to sound confident "You heard her, now come and save her batman" The unsub said ending the short phone call, slammed his phone on his desk, he sighed grinding his teeth together and decided to call his team and Will, he sent out a text saying 'Get to the BAU now, have a case' Hotch then called Will asking him to come to the BAU, within 5 minutes Will had arrived followed by Morgan and Reid, the 3 men entered the round table finding Hotch standing next to the table with his arms crossed "Hotch" Morgan said making him turn around "Your lost, what's wrong?" Reid said with worry, Will looked at Hotch concerned "I- I got a call from JJ, well her kidnapper" He said looking at the expressions on their faces, Will had a different look on his face, like he couldn't believe what he heard from his, close friend, since JJ left Hotch had became more close with Will "Is she okay?" Will said wanting to hear a yes "I don't know" Hotch said knowing the actual answer, Will sat down burying his head in his hands Morgan spoke "We're going to start the case again aren't we?" He took a seat next to Will putting his hand on his back as Hotch nodded, Reid ran his fingers in his hair thinking back to the last time he saw her
~FLASHBACK~
Everyone decided they should go back to their houses and get some sleep, so they did a few by a few, then JJ and Reid were the remaining profilers, "Need a lift back to your house?" Reid asked JJ expecting a yes "Uh nah I'm alright, I want to stay here for a bit longer and see if I could find anything else" JJ said giving a longer response than Reid bargained for "You sure Jayje?" He asked once more, she turned around smiled and nodded her head, he sighed knowing she won't change her mind, she was stubborn like that "Alright, goodnight don't stay here all night though" He said walking away slow and a second later he was out of Quantico PD and into his house, regretting his decision, knowing it was a bad one
~FLASHBACK~
Reid thinks it was his fault that JJ was kidnapped but it wasn't, he bit his lip, something he started to do whenever he was either upset or anxious about something, the 4 men who stood in the BAU waited for 6 more minutes until the whole team arrived, they all sat down, while Garcia and Hotch stood up with unusual looks on their faces, Will wasn't there often, so the team knew it was concerning JJ "11 minutes ago I got a call, it was JJs kidnapper, he put her on the phone for a few seconds to show me that she was alive, but I couldn't tell if she was alright or not, I am deciding to reopen the case with Will on board" Hotch stopped talking and everyone nodded, Hotch sighed "Let's start, go back to where you went before" He said everyone getting up, going to where they were previously while on the case. Will sat there thinking about what his wife was going through, he knew he should have waited for her, but he didn't, if he waited for her, she wouldn't be gone right now, Henry, Kai and Kate would have their mother, he got pulled out of his thoughts when Hotch tapped his shoulder "I need your help Will" He said standing up and walking over to the board, in just a few days they would hope to see JJ again, before they run out of time.

Hey guys this is my first fanfiction it is a Willifer fanfic, just a few notes, everything in the past has happened even Haley being alive :), but JJ and Will have 3 kids, Henry is 6, Kai is 8 and Kate is 6, but JJ is 35 idk how the ages work out but, go along with it hahaha, anyways I will try and update within a few days but I do have school and a lot of work, imma try my hardest and best to finish this story, hope you enjoyed chapter 1 as there will be more to come... :) love and blessings have a great day guys :) x
