Molly Prewett was not a witch that went around breaking rules. She had been raised to be a good pureblood girl that would marry a pureblood wizard when she came of age. That's what her parents had wanted from her.
But that was not what Molly wanted. She wanted a husband who loved her for who she was and not for her blood status or because she came from a rich and old family. She wanted her little brothers tobinow it was alright to choose your own way. And that's what she was set out to do.
Because Molly fell in love with Arthur Weasley. He may be a pureblood. But he was not rich nor did he care that she had money or that her family was old pureblood. No. He cared for her the way she was.
And that's why Molly Prewett was now set out to break the rules and sneak out of the common room long after curfew to meet with the man she loved. He had invited her to dinner in the moonlight at midnight in the kitchens. And for that Molly would go down and she would not worry what could go wrong. She would not think of punishment if the were caught. She would only think of Arthur who took so much effort to make this a special occasion for both of them.
So when midnight came closer, Molly was all ready to go. She had a nice dress on and shoes that were spelled to be quiet. After all she didn't want to get caught by whoever was patrolling the corridors that night. She crossed through the common room that was already empty which was unusual but very welcome. She climbed through the portrait hole like her boyfriend had done earlier that night and made her way down to the kitchens. Molly was a bit more alert than her boyfriend, so she saw the Hufflepuff ghost wandering the corridor and blocking her way to the kitchens. What now? She needed to get into the kitchens but the ghost effectively blocked the portrait that marked the entrance.

When Arthur slipped into the kitchens he was greeted by a warm welcome from the house elves. They were always happy to be of service to the students. Everything seemed to be ready for the dinner Arthur had planned. He turned to the little servants. "Thank you very much for your help. It looks very delicious what you have prepared. I would have been at a loss of what to do without you!" The elves were bowing and sporting wide smiles at that. They liked Arthur Weasley for he did not look down upon them like many other purebloods did. He was always grateful if he was helped. And he did not see a different is that person was an elve, a human or another creature.
Arthur then went to the table and took something out of his robes and put it on the table. It was a little bottle with a red rose in it. The rose was charmed to always be in bloom. It had taken him two full weeks to find the spellwork for the little flower but he hoped Molly would like it.
When he looked at the clock he realised it was almost time. So he went to the entrance and waited for the woman he hoped would one day be his wife.
