My Sunshine

A Sister's Story

I walk towards Pearl who is trying to work a cellular phone. She then turns around and says, 'Oh, hello, Fawn, can I help you?'. 'I need to know about Rainbow's sister.' I say. 'I believe the memory orb in the memory room can tell you.' Pearl responds, taking a memory orb and putting it in a slot above 4 gems. I walk inside and Pearl says, 'I'll wait at the door when you're ready to leave.'. I nod and the door shuts. I then say to the room, 'Lead me to Rainbow Quartz's sister.'. I see a pink orb come toward me. I tap it to start the recording.

'AGH, SHOOT!' Anai says as a soldier runs towards her. She jumps back immediately. 'ANAI! BACK AWAY! YOU'RE GEM'S CRACKED!' Pearl says, shoving her down as a sword cuts through the air. Anai looks at her gem and looks at Rainbow who's being cornered by a bunch of soldiers. She gets up after Pearl gets off of her. She grabs her sword and stabs several guards. She feels a sudden pain in her gem and looks down. She sees that a soldier had stabbed her from behind. Her gem cracks more and more and she says her final words...

"Bye, love ya"

She poofs and Rainbow struggles to put her gem back. 'No no no no no no... This can't be happening... Not now... I need her... I NEED HER TO HELP ME!!!' Rainbow says, he starts to cry and Pearl says, "Rainbow... Her gem... She belongs to the ages...". She holds Rainbow's hand and the fusion named Garnet splits and the gems named Ruby and Sapphire walk over with a guilty face. They hug Rainbow as he starts crying.

I stare at the orb as it returns to it's place in the bad memory station. I start producing tears and I look at Pearl. She hugs me and I stop tearing. She then says 'He never stops crying... He does it in his head whenever others are around. But at night in his room, he cries out loud.'.
