chapter nine:

Once they finished eating, they began making their way to the orphanage. The orphanage looked run down. It had an unpleasant aura around it.
"Ryuga, go inform my brother to send the guards over here with a warrant for the arrest of the adults for negligence. This orphanage is unfit for children," Kyouya said.
"Yes, Captain," Ryuga said before running off. 

Suddenly they heard a child screaming from the inside. Seiya immediately ran in.
"Seiya, wait a minute," Kyouya shouted.
"Seiya-ni," Giyuu shouted.
Seiya had kicked down the door and saw a man brutally abusing a poor child. The little boy was crying as his back was covered in marks. Seiya looked pissed off.  There were a bunch of men in the room as well. 
"Who the fuck are you," one shouted at Seiya.
Seiya immediately punched the man in his face and sent him into a wall behind him. He took off the uniform blazer and placed it over the boy.
"What the hell, get this bastard," the other men shouted.
They tried to attack Seiya, but Seiya blocks everything coming at him and sent them flying. There were other children around. They were shaking as they saw Seiya.
"Are you alright," Seiya asked as he kneeled.
He had a worried look on his face. This was very uncommon for Seiya since Seiya rarely shows facial expressions.
"Who are you," a little girl asked.
"I'm someone here to help."
"To help," a little boy asked.
The boy with bruises and slashes on his back was named Tanaka. He didn't have a last name due to not being a part of the nobility.
"Yeah, the second prince, Katsuwari Kyouya, is outside. You will not be getting away with what you have done to these children," Seiya said as he glared at the adults in the room.
Giyuu and Kyouya ran in. They saw the scars on the little boy's back. The men immediately went to their knees. They were bruised and injured because they tried to attack Seiya.
"Your Highness," they shouted while fearing for their lives.
"Tanaka," Giyuu shouted while crying.
"Red," he shouted as he ran towards Giyuu.
Giyuu and Tanaka have known each other since they came to the orphanage. They're like brothers. Giyuu hugged him after covering him with a blanket.
"Don't worry. It'll be alright."
"You bastard, I should've killed you a long time ago, you red-haired brat," one of them shouted at Giyuu.
Giyuu glared as he hugged Tanaka. Seiya punched him in the jaw.
"Kyouya-san, can I request that you find someone capable of taking care of them and punish the ones who did this? Just look around, their faces have no fat, and they're pale. They look like they'll fall over any minute," Seiya asked with a serious expression.
"I knew it. Seiya-san is so cool," Kyouya thought.
"Of course, I'll find someone to take care of these children. But honestly, I will punish those bastards for making the children suffer. Before I came in, I told Ryuga to get my brother and the royal guards ready. As captain of the royal guard, I place the adults in charge of this orphanage under arrest for neglect and child abuse," Kyouya said with a serious expression.
"Don't even think about running. You won't get far," Seiya said to them as he had a murderous aura around him.
"What the hell, what kind of monster are you," they shouted.
After a while...
The five adults were arrested, and they were also selling children into slavery. Seiya was with the children outside and kept them calm. There were 11 children in total, excluding Giyuu.  Three of the children were quite young, and one of them was only four years old. Tanaka, the child with marks all over his back, was only eight. The other children were between the ages of five and seven. Seiya hovered his hand over Tanaka's back, healing him with magic. The other children were amazed.
"Wow, Seiya-ni, you're so cool," they were saying.
"Would you like to see more magic? I can show you once I finish healing him," Seiya asked with a smile.
"Yeah, please," the kids shouted, looking very excited.
Takeru, who made sure the adults were taken away, walked over to where Seiya was. He blushed at the sight of Seiya smiling.
"Seiya-san is too beautiful," He thought.
Kyouya noticed Takeru staring at Seiya. He walked over to him and glared at Takeru.
"Hey, idiot older brother, Seiya is mine," Kyouya said.
"Huh, how can he be yours when you've just met? Seiya has an opinion too. Seiya will choose me over you, you idiot little brother," Takeru asked as he glared.
"Takeru, I'm warning you, I will not fight you over the kingdom or any territory, but Seiya, I would kill you over him," Kyouya said with a sharper glare.
"Then, I guess we'll be fighting to the death, Kyouya."
A lightning bolt appeared between them. Seiya was too busy playing with the children to notice them fight over him. Kyouya and Takeru saw Seiya spending time with the kids while smiling. They both had a slight blush on their face.
"Anyway, we need to find someone we can trust to do these children justice. They've been through so much, " Kyouya said with a sigh.
"I know. If it wasn't for Seiya being involved, I don't know if I would have seen something like this befalling Reinheld," Takeru said.
Seiya was using magic to magic the children float. They were flying around happily. Seiya smiled brighter.
"He truly has a soft spot for kids. He isn't like that with us," Takeru said.
"That's true, but that makes this side of him even cuter," Kyouya said with a smile.
After a while...
Seiya sighed as he remembered observing the children. All the smaller children were sleeping and leaning against Seiya as he was sitting on the ground.
"They're so underfed, and it's like they've eaten once a week or something. But it's not good to feed them too much, or they'll die of refeeding syndrome," Seiya thought.
"Hey, when was the last time you ate," Seiya asked.
"About two weeks ago, but we threw it up because we ate too fast," Tanaka said.
"Two weeks, that's worst than I thought. We should probably only feed them foods with electrolytes and fruit until they can function, but how is the Giyuu fine? Could it be his mana is keeping his body from needing food," Seiya thought.
"Hmm, first thing, we should you some bananas or watermelon. We also should get some coconut water."
" I would recommend vitamins, but we aren't able to produce vitamins in this world. I would need potassium, vitamin D, and calcium. I would also need something to log their weight," he thought.
"Seiya, could it be that you know something we don't," Kyouya asked.
"In my world, feeding a starved person after so long can possibly kill them. It's called refeeding syndrome. The body is dependent on stored energy, and once you introduce food energy back in, it can kill someone. Which is why I recommended those as food options," Seiya said.
"Seiya, are you, by chance, a genius," Kyouya asked with a bright smile.
"Not really, it's just taught in school. It's basic biology."
"This world is so behind in medical knowledge," Seiya thought.
Seiya used mana vision and saw that all the children were able to use magic.
"These children are able to use magic," Seiya said.
Kyouya used mana vision on them, and he looked shocked.
"What the hell, those bastards," Takeru shouted.
"They were selling children as well, right Giyuu," Seiya asked.
Giyuu nodded. Seiya was pissed.
"Those bastards," Seiya said with an angry expression.
"Seiya, those bastards are going to die, it's illegal to harm children, but children with mana are rare. In this world, there is a Children with mana protection act. It states that if a child possesses mana and is mistreated or harmed, the perpetrator will have all funds seized and receive the death penalty from the emperor. Our father came up with this decree due to the increase of children with magic potential in slave auctions," Kyouya said while he had a serious expression.
Giyuu looked shocked. Tanaka looked upset.
"So you mean we didn't have to suffer all this time? We were told that people with magic should be grateful to be alive. If we were found out, the emperor would kill us," Tanaka shouted.
"Tanaka," Giyuu said while he started crying.

"How are we supposed to believe in adults if they keep lying to us? It's so frustrating," Tanaka shouted while crying.
"Don't worry. You all will receive justice. This isn't a matter of the Care of Civilians Act but the Children with mana act. You all will be taken care of now, and let the adult handle those men. Do you know how many were sold? It's also illegal to purchase slaves," Takeru asked.
"At least five."
