Meanwhile...

A hooded figure sat in a carriage across from Mai.

"My men should be taking care of it to think you'd pay us enough money to commit treason. Did someone get on your bad side, Mai-sama," they asked.

Mai smirked.

"Yeah, that stuck up, little princess. She stole Katsuya from me. Katsuya was supposed to be marrying me, but now he's fallen for her like she's a goddess. That bitch deserves to die, and when she does, The beautiful lady Mai will go over to the shaken prince Katsuya and comfort him. Maybe I'll also take her little toy Yuzen too," she shouted.

"You do know, if they link you to this crime, our contract will end, and more than likely, we'll be sent after you," the man said.
"Heh, I know, but to wipe the empire of that half-purebred bitch, it'll be perfect."
Meanwhile...
Ryuga had arrived at the sight with other knights. His heart dropped as he saw. Aya was leaning over crying over Yuzen. The assassins were on the ground, unconscious around them.
"Round those bastards up, now," Ryuga shouted.
"Yes sir, " the guards shouted before they did as they were told.
Ryuga walked over to the crying Aya. The emperor was investigating the assassin's possessions. He saw the pale Yuzen lying in a puddle of blood on the ground. There was a blood trail formed when he fought.
"Yuzen," he shouted.
He was bleeding from a wound. He had lost a lot of blood. Aya was crying.
"Yuzen was stabbed with a sword and won't stop bleeding. If I move my hands, he'll die. I don't possess much holy magic, and I don't know any healing spells. So I'm useless; please help him. He kept fighting even though he was injured, Ryuga. This idiot," Aya cried.
Ryuga instantly started healing him.
"Even if I close this wound, he won't wake up. Although, he won't lose any more blood either," Ryuga said.
"Ryuga."
"It also seems that the blade was poisoned. I'll try purifying that as well."
"Yuzen," she said.

After Yuzen's injury was healed, Ryuga picked him up.

"He's still pretty pale, and I'll get him to the priest. He can probably heal him more."

"Ryuga, please," Aya cried.

Yuzen was taken to the priest.
"Don't worry, he's out of the danger zone for now, I can't replenish the blood he lost, but at this time he will not die, I'll keep watching over our brave knight," the priest said.
"Thank You Urachi-sama."
"No problem, Vice captain."
Ryuga left the priests recovery room. He sighed as he thought about how Yuzen almost died.
"I need answers from that bastard, I almost lost one of my most valuable friends," Ryuga thought.
Ryuga walked to the dungeon. He saw the current captain of the knights.

"Captain Mitsuri," Ryuga said.

"You wanted to talk with the one you fought, right," he asked.

"Yeah."

Kurosabe Mitsuri is 52 years old. He is still one of the strongest swordsmen in the empire. He had grey hair and blue eyes.

"Where is he," Ryuga asked while looking toward him.

"He's in the first cell."

Ryuga walked to the cell and opened it. The man was chained to the wall. He had bright strawberry-blonde hair and purple eyes. His rune was in the middle of his forehead. He had scars on his face.

"Captain, please watch the door."

Ryuga walked over to him.

"He's rather pretty for a guy, but he's not more than Minoru," Ryuga thought.

"Hey, you're name," Ryuga asked.

The man looked up at him.

"None of your damn business."
