you were in leafy's arms tightly not wanting to let to, you were trembling, crying, and shaky, but she was trying to calm you down in her arms...

"hey..it's okay..you're safe with me now..you aren't gonna see me leave you anytime soon..i promise that, and i'll make sure of that.." leafy says still holding onto you dearly, you can feel your head spinning around like crazy, but you heard leafy's words...and that made you start to slowly calm down, and regain your surroundings. your breaths were starting to become soft very slowly..leafy put her hand on your back and rubbed it softly just to make you feel at peace again... "hey..." leafy said as she put her hand on your cheek and lifted up your head, you still had some tears in your eyes, so leafy simply lifted her finger and wiped the tears right off of you and soothed your cheek with her other hand. "hey hey...please...look at me..." she says in a hushed tone, you look at her..with your teary eyes... "you won't ever be alone...i..i simply won't allow it.." you can feel her still holding you tightly, not wanting to let go of you.. "i won't leave you for anything...i swear on my life...you'll be safe with me, always..." 

she reached your lips and kissed you on the spot, right then and there, it only lasted for a couple of seconds but you were too shocked to even comprehend what just happened and only after she released, she muttered this, quietly.

"i..i love you..you don't understand how you're so important to me..you mean so much to me, and i can't see you hurt like this..it hurts me..it hurts me so much to see you like this, it makes me feel...miserable...to see you hurt like this..i can't believe i didn't tell you this sooner..i actually had a note i wanted to show you but i left it back at my place i believe..i don't know where i put it but it's gotta be there somewhere...what i'm trying to say is..I love you."

you suddenly froze for a moment, it's like the whole world just lit up when she said that and kissed you, you blink a few times and look at leafy's eyes and her lips..and then you hold her close to give her another kiss. and this time, it actually lasted for at least 20 seconds. you let go and you smile at her, softly and even felt yourself getting warm inside..you looked at her and you saw her blushing like crazy and waving her arms around..that made your smile grow even more. you opened your lips to say..

"I love you too."

leafy's eyes widened as she hear you speak, your voice wasn't the loudest since you haven't even said a word ever since then..your voice was a bit quiet, and raspy as well but leafy didn't mind it all , in fact she even hugged you so tightly when you spoke and she could feel the tears streaming down from her eyes, it's like everything didn't matter anymore but you and her alone. she was more than happy to hear your voice, tears kept on pouring out of her eyes as she kept on hugging you tighter and tighter. "oh my goodness..." she said as she sniffled, the tears kept on going and going, like it was never bound to stop anytime soon. "y-your voice..." 

you notice that leafy is crying and you pat her on her back, you were so confused, no. all of this was confusing to you, but when you looked at her again she looked completely happy, more than that..she seemed...at peace, and blessed. "o-oh..im sorry, i didn't mean t-to..make you cry.." leafy shook her head and put wiped away all of her tears and looked at you in a way she couldn't express, she was more than just happy..she was just, in a trance just listening to you speak. "no..don't be sorry, don't even apologize...your voice sounds...so wonderful..." you blushed at the compliment not knowing what else to say besides mutter a small and quiet 'thank you...' 

"i actually...can't believe i get to actually hear you speak after so long..this is honestly so..amazing.." leafy sighed, "and i can't believe you kissed me like that..." you added on looking at the floor and twiddling with your own fingers..leafy chuckled and said in response "well..i couldn't help it..i couldn't help myself...it was just, too much and...i just ...wanted to kiss you." her soft skin on her cheeks were turning a pretty peach pink, and you could feel yourself feeling warm too. "i-..im glad..leafy.." you said still a bit raspy and quiet and honestly pretty flattered..you just wanted to look into leafy's eyes forever and ever. not wanting to ever look away from them, as crazy as it sounds...you just wanted to be with her and stay with her forever..as long as nobody tries to come in the way between the both of you, then you knew and she knew that it was all gonna be okay in the end.
