ficlet 1: at the first time

content: how i describe the encounter between kai and skylor in "ninjago" after the fourth season: "tournament of elements" (2015).

i tried my best to keep the number of words become so "formal". is that how we call it? because my first work, my first kailor drabble has five hundreds of words. and for my second kailor work, my first ficlet, first kailor ficlet, i want to do that method again.

It's been a while since the boy fought his romantic-passion's father in the event of underground crime of an illegal tournament of elements that leads to the second-like war between humans and the serpentines. Since the end of the second-like serpentine war, the male wonder when he can see her again. Or at least whether they will ever meet again after the event.

The red ninja managed to get through the next event of being one of the current heroes at the certain generation. The current ninja group has fought the ghost that escaped from the cursed realm—the realm where the founder of the most popular noodle restaurant was currently being held in right after the previous villain event—and then the similar thing happened to the assistant of the "cult" leader who started the second-like war.

The group were planned to be stopping the "cult" leader's assistant-that escaped the cursed realm too after the previous ghost that has been defeated-from finding the genie lamp on the junk laden ship, but somehow they didn't have to since the subject got mobbed by the masses of the certain town and the ship continue its way based on the work schedule. The group are having some moments with the public at the time anyways.

Throughout the events, the girl has been handling restaurants of one of the most popular brands in the country since her father got sent to the cursed realm for being a villain. The female need to clear the name of the brand she has to inherit as a family legacy due to what her father has done before she lead the business—the cult she was in before has been triggering her, especially the moment when the public saw her other figure with their own eyes while she was still sitting behind her romantic-interest; thankfully the cult's mark on her back is permanently gone—and now the family bussiness is slowly going back to the previous usual successful era.

If her romantic-interest didn't ever confessed his feelings to the bussinesswoman, maybe she will never made it this far.

One time, they finally meet again. Kai payed her restaurant a visit while he actually need to discussing with Skylor about the potential truth of whether or not his parents are villains. The elemental master of amber happen to give him a helpful advice, she tried to cheered him up. Due to the rumoured bad news about Kai's parents he lost his appetite which made him don't want to eat the fresh noodles while his sister is enjoying Skylor's noodles.

Eventually the reunion didnot last long due to the call for the ninja to continue their current mission which lead Kai's sister didn't have time to finish Skylor's noodles. She then decided to eat the noodles that were previously meant for the boy, and save the other one for dinner.

The red-haired girl felt her reunion with the brunette-haired boy and his sister was too short for her to enjoy. Does the spiky-haired boy feel the same? Is his heroic schedule really that rough? Does he really have time to take a little break from heroic quests? The quick reunion made the ponytail-haired girl missing his presence being around her. The girl definitely still have the same feelings she had since the boy confessed to her near the end of the tournament of elements.

The amber master then decided to go back in action with the other elemental masters for a while outside her noodle empire when she heard Nya and Lloyd were surrounded by lots of members of the unusual type of a gang. Near the end of the event, the master of amber took a brave decision to agree the plan on controlling a dark power. But was it too brave? She barely survived that moment. If she took a step even further before she lost consciousness, she would never survived at all in the end.

Few hours later the fire ninja got back to the main realm of the universe and he noticed the female is unconscious and he found out how to save her stop the current villain from doing more damages. Right it is all finished, the male immediately went to the location where the female laid down during the last act of the current event, making her resting some upper parts of her body on the red-clothed male's arm while the orange-clothed female was coughing in a second. She woke up in his arms, at the moment when the situation has been stated as winning to their home realm.

Seeing each other again after a while made them feel like they just met at the first time.

The next day they shared a moment together, with the whole ninja team and the citizens of Ninjago to celebrate the victory. And in the day of a ceremony when the monastery has been rebuilt, she came for him and joined the small celebration. Those has been a relief for them to see each other again, and it's a rare thing for them which made them feel like they just met at the first time.

Some events went by again until a heroic group member has to be gone in order to save the city. The master of amber came to the memorial of the fire master's sister. Though, she has been distracted from the topic of the master of fire because she knows they lost someone the city always knew. She's definitely a person who is easy to be focused on more important topics.

In those events after the master of amber joined the little celebration of the monastery until one year after one hero has been stated as gone, she hasn't interact with him in long time which reminded her the moment when they promised to keep in contact. Made her questioning again if they'll ever see each other again.
