Rose was watching over Braeden at the hospital refusing to leave her side after what had happened. Derek saw how worried Rose was and he made his way to her.
"She's going to be okay" Derek said. "She better, be she's my best friend" Rose said. "Ouch" Derek said fake hurt.
"You know what I mean" Rose said. "Yeah, I do" Derek said. "She was there for me when I thought you were dead when I lost my family and had no one to turn to she's everything to me I can't lose her" Rose said.
"And you won't" Derek said and Rose smiled. Melissa came in as Derek and Rose moved out of the way.
"What's that" Derek asked. "Naloxone" Melissa said putting Naloxone in Braeden's iv. "We need to wake her up" Melissa said.
"I thought you said she needed to rest" Derek said. "That was before I found out the CDC just put the high school under quarantine with Scott and Stiles still in there" Melissa said.
Braeden had jolted up awake. "Braeden, Braeden look at me" Melissa did and Braeden did. "You were shot but you're in the hospital now and you're fine" Melissa said.
"Do you understand" Melissa asked and Braeden looked at Rose who nodded. Braeden looked at Melissa and nodded at her.
"Good okay last night you were in the woods, and you came across another pack" Melissa said. "Do you know what happened to them" Melissa asked.
"I told you they were poisoned" Derek said. "No, no they were infected it was a virus designed to kill werewolves and it did it killed them all" Braeden said.

Rose and Derek were watching over Braeden who fell back asleep after Melissa had left the room. Braeden had cleared her throat waking up seeing Derek and Rose.
"What are you two still doing here" Braeden asked. "Like I'm going to leave you here all alone" Rose said and Braeden smiled.
"There's the Rose I know" Braeden said. There was a knock on the door as Rose and Derek looked seeing Melissa.
"Derek, Rose I think there's someone here you've been trying to find" Melissa said and Satomi revealed herself.

Derek, Rose, Melissa, and Satomi have met back up with Deaton in an empty room where the dead werewolf laid on a table.
"It's a variant of canine distemper a few years ago an outbreak in Yellowstone killed 40% of the wolf population" Deaton said.
"What's it going to do to our wolf population" Melissa asked. "Well, it's been altered infect quite a bit faster" Deaton said. "You mean it's been weaponized" Derek said.
"It infected my whole pack" Satomi said. "Everyone except for you that's the real question" Deaton said. "Did you not get infected or are you immune" Deaton said.

"If your pack was infected then who was doing all the shooting at the entrance to the woods" Derek asked. "Apparently another assassin personally I'd rather face a gun than a variant of smallpox" Satomi said.
"You and me both" Rose said. "Sounds like you're going to get plenty of chances" Melissa said. Satomi kept looking at Rose and Derek and noticed they noticed.
"Sorry I just noticed how much you remind me of Talia" Satomi said to Derek. "I used to visit her a lot you know" Satomi said.
"And you Rose I remember always seeing you with Derek never leaving his side not even for a second" Satomi said. "Do you remember me both of you" Satomi asked.
"I remember the tea you always brought that tea that smelled terrible" Derek said.
"Hey, I liked that tea" Rose said and Derek smiled at her grabbing her hand kissing it. "I brought that tea as a gift your mother loved it" Satomi told Derek.
"What kind of tea" Deaton asked. "What" Satomi said. "The tea with the smell what kind was it" Deaton asked. "Reishi wild purple Reishi it's very rare" Satomi said.
"It's also a very powerful remedy for sickness Satomi you didn't get infected because you've been inoculated" Deaton said.
"Okay, okay how rare is it can we find it" Melissa asked. "We don't have to my mother kept some of it it's in our vault" Derek said and Melissa left to call Agent McCall.
Satomi had noticed Rose's ring as her hand was wrapped around Derek's arm. "Is that an engagement ring" Satomi asked.
"Yeah, yeah it is" Rose said. "I proposed not too long ago" Derek said. "Wait you two are together" Satomi asked. "Yeah, we are, took some time but we got there" Rose said.
"Talia would be so proud and happy for you both she always wanted to see you two together she always had a feeling you two were meant to be" Satomi said and Rose and Derek smiled.

Rose and Derek were back at the loft in the bedroom as Rose was already in the bed when she felt the bed dip and she turned seeing Derek getting in the bed.
She moved closer to him, and he put his arm around her. "So meant to be huh" Rose asked. Derek had laughed before answering.
"Can't believe my mother knew how we felt about each other before we did" Derek said. "It doesn't matter we eventually got there" Rose said. "Yeah, your right" Derek said.
"I can't wait to be your wife" Rose said. "And I can't wait to be married to my best friend" Derek said and pecked her lips before falling asleep as Rose fell asleep on his chest.
