Everything was going according to plan. Jack was in the apartment on the couch and Mauve still thought he wouldn't be back until the following day. She was currently walking to their apartment door. Rory was in the kitchen ready to distract her so Jack could surprise her.
"Honey, I'm home" Mauve said as she walked into the apartment.
"How was your class?" Rory asked trying to divert Mauve's attention from the living room.
"It was awful. The professor showed up late and then put us into groups. I got put with Zach and Carter" Mauve explained while rolling her eyes. Rory grimaced at the mention of the two boys.
"Ew" Rory muttered.
Arms wrapped around Mauve's waist and she was ready to jab her elbow back until she heard a familiar voice whisper a hello into her ear. She gasped and turned around jumping into Jack's arms.
"I thought you weren't coming back until tomorrow" She said.
"I wanted to surprise you" Jack laughed out. She pulled away and kissed him passionately. Rory's eyes widened and she laughed. Mauve pulled away and glared at her.
"I'll let you guys have some alone time" Rory said before walking to her room. Once she closed her door Jack picked up Mauve and spun her in circles while hugging her. Giggles fell from the two lips.
"I missed you so much" Jack whispered in her ear when he put her down.
"Actions speak louder than words" Mauve said smirking at him. Jack raised his eyebrows and pulled her in for a passionate kiss.
"Yep. I'd say you missed me" Mauve says as they pull apart.
"I'm taking you out tonight" Jack says while swinging their arms slightly.
"How do I need to dress?" Mauve asks.
"Nice. I'm spoiling you tonight" He says before kissing her lips softly.
