"OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY!" I squeal, god I should have been paying more attention.
"It's alright calm down," He pauses, "I'm Anthony Lockwood, who are you?"
"Adaline Oakes..."
"Adaline, do you have anywhere else to stay?" He walks me into what I assume is his home.
"No, why?" I stutter, why am I so trusting of this man?
"One moment."
His home was very cluttered... Items scattered in every nook and cranny, it made it look actually lived in. Lots of frames where littered over the walls with photographs and newspaper extracts. The 'mess' was almost beautiful?
"Apologies, I wasn't expecting a guest," He smiles.
Once one of the other residents of the building, her name was Lucy, had passed Anthony some blankets and pillows he asked me to follow him into a room. So I did. This door lead us to his room, and made the bed with new sheets and neatly placed the blankets and pillows back onto the bed. It wasn't a small single bed; it was a double bed.
"Would you be okay sleeping here?"
I nod awkwardly. This was his room, where would he sleep?
"I shall leave you too it then." I pause. "Would you like separate clothes to sleep in, I assume it'd be more comfortable... then your usual attire."
"Yes please... And thank you."
He starts rustling through his wardrobe, searching and searching. And failing dramatically. Eventually he finds a grey T-shirt and some black bottoms.
"Would this be alright?"
"Do you maybe have something longer on the sleeves - I'm sorry." I dont like showing my arms - I get cold very easily.
"Here." He smiles calmly, "I'll leave so you can change, call me or Lucy if you need something. I'll be in the library. The room upstairs."
"Goodnight..." I yawn.
"Sleep well Keira..." he leaves towards what i assume to be a library. There were lots of books and newspapers so that was the logical idea to get to.
