*Trigger Warning: Bit of racism*

What the actual...

"Get off of me. If you want me to come, there's a thing called respect, and you clearly lack some for me. If you can't find a single plus one that your stuck asking some 16yo, you're hopeless." I pull away, slapping him and slamming the door.

This, this is why I try not to socialize with him. He can actually be fun sometimes, but the times he's not, are so miserable.

However, I didn't get to ask Delilah my questions, but I guess it's whatever, i'll just ask when they come back. As I continue walking, looking through my messages again double checking to see if "stranger" has texted me back yet, I feel a slight tug on my arm. I turn around and well..

"Ori, listen. I'm sorry for what I did back there, I just.. got jealous you were only here for her and barely even remembered my name when we used to talk so much back when we were kids. I know you might not like me, but I just wanted to tell you I shouldn't have done that." Ren looks at me apologetically.

"Ren.. you know I care for you, but I just don't know what to do sometimes. I get your humor, and I usually can get along with your "flirty" side well. Sometime, it just gets outta hand. I forgive you, though, I could never hate you." I turn around to hug him, trying to be gentle so I don't mess up his tuxedo.

"Hey, I wasn't joking though. Would you.. please be my plus one? I miss our talks once in a while, how we used to joke around and tease each other.. it's fine if not, but I really would love it." He asks, in a lower tone. Before I could say anything, he interrupts me. "I know I know, you don't have much formal wear, but i'm sure Delilah has something."

"This really means a lot to you, huh?" I say looking up at him, smiling.

"Do I really need to answer that?" He looks away, slightly blushing. "Is it a yes or no?".

"You know what, sure. If you can find me a dress in 2 minutes, i'll meet you there." I say, chuckling.

He dashes back in the house, while I await his return. I contemplate whether I should send another message, or just forget about it. I draft a quick message, but maybe i'll send it later.

I turn around and see Ren, holding a beautiful, long, spaghetti-strapped yellow dress with a slit on the side. Not too fancy,  and not too revealing either. I guess he really does know me.

"I'll send you the address, assuming you have the same number, and i'll meet you there?" He hands me the dress, and pulls out his phone.

"Alright, i'll see you guys there." I say, throwing my headphones on, dancing while I walk back home as per usual. I wonder how he stole this from Delilah.. that would've been fun to watch. I guess I should get home so I can change.

*DRESS/OUTFIT REFERENCE IMAGE AT BOTTOM IF NEEDED*

---------------------------------------

I suited up for the event, wearing my orange sandals I thought could go with the dress the most, tying my hair into a sorta messy bun. I do a small makeup look, and i'm ready to go. Before I go however, I have to find a way to "parent proof" this dress.

I tied my dress into a shirt of some sort, put on some biker shorts, threw a jean jacket on and bam, I was ready.

"Hey ma, may I go spend the night at Delilah's? I know you said I had to be home, but please?"

"Fine, but don't stay too late please. I have to work late tomorrow and you need to let yourself in." She says, looking at my outfit, sorta confused. "What's this outfit y-"
