Chapter 16 - Back in the blood bath

<Jasmine's POV>

I sit watching Aladdin as he sound fully sleeps. A shiver runs down my spine as the wind blows through the trees. I look down at the light amount of smoke that is rising from the small fire I made when I cooked Ariel.

"Attention all remaining tributes, Today I felt kind so I present a feast to you all, held at the cornucopia" Says the overall game maker, Mickey mouse, "There is a bag for each district with all useful supplies that each of you need" he continues, "Good luck tributes, may the odds be ever in your favour", silence once again fills the arena after Mickey stopped talking.

I look back down at Aladdin, he does sure need supplies.

I stay in among the tree line trying to stay out of view, with my sword in hand I feel dangerous.

I view the cornucopia. Crap, of course four other people are there. Luckily they're on the other side of the cornucopia. I suddenly no longer feel dangerous.

I peer at the bags, It seems as if they're going back and fourth to grab bags, they already managed to grab bags: 9, 2 and 12. Luckily Aladdin and I's bag: 1 are still sitting there.

I sneak behind a large boulder, once I'm around it, I've got our bag.

I hear Mulan around the other side: "Hmm whats in here, district six, anti depressants!? Geez!"

I raise my eyebrow, who is in district six? Oh, yeah Aurora and prince Philip.

"Hmm, medicine! Thanks district one!" Says Mulan sounding excited, wait, thats our bag!

I jump out form the bush and Mulan immediately spots me, she drops the bag and jumps over the table hurling herself onto me. I draw out my sword and stab it side ways into her stomach, she screams in pain, I snatch our bag from Mulan and district 10's bag.

I take off into the woods. I hear fast feet behind me, more than one person, to my horror when I turn around it's the beats and Shang. A small knife flies beside me just missing my head. Crap!

After a horrific minutes of running and detour into a bush I can't hear anything but silence. I'm pretty sure I'm safe now

I jump out and look both ways, I may be safe but I don't know where I am. Great, now I'm lost, with a sick defenceless husband and no supplies to help help him. It could take me ages to at least find the river and follow it until I eventually find my way back to Aladdin...
