Chapter 2 - Him

Beomgyu POV

When I looked at him it was like all my worries went away, the way his face glowed in the light, and the way he dressed was quite stunning, at that point my cheeks turned a lightish pink color while staring at him.

He waved his hands in front of me since I was frozen still, I snapped back into reality after a couple seconds. "Sorry, I was uhh.. thinking?" I blurted out. He looked a bit shocked after I single-handedly yelled in his face. "It's not a problem, if you want I can help you with work if your struggling?" He responded with a gentle and compassionate tone.

Once again, I stare at him but this time I smile softly. "I would love that." I muttered a bit. "Great!" He replied back with a smile that could light up anyones day in a matter of seconds. He followed his sentence up with a, "You already have my number so I guess just, call me when you can?" I nodded at him and he wandered away as I zipped up my bag. Again, I started walking to my second class just like each and every day.

I stared at my phone for a bit while "She" by Tyler the Creator was playing, I was questioning whether or not to text Kai and give him a time to come over. I haven't really socialized with a lot of people even before transferring here, so it was quite awkward just starting a convo with a guy I just met today.

I caught myself smiling a bit too wide after that conversation, I've barely met him and I've never had a full conversation with him so why?

In class I stared at the clock every few minutes seeing when it would hit 1:45 pm, the time I got out of class and I would be able to get ready to see Kai.

As the time got closer I got more stressed out, what do I wear, do I need to dress up good? I groan and lightly slam my head on the desk giving up with this whole meetup, I haven't hung out with anyone in a couple weeks, why is this so hard?

The clock finally hits 1:45 and I rush out of the classroom slightly shoving people out of the way, It was a bit rude, but I genuinely had no time to waste.

As I got to my dorm I ran to my room searching what to wear, after a bit I finally found the outfit. It was somewhat casual, a white shirt, black baggy pants, white air-forces, and a grayish-beige sweater. I tried it on and I was pleased with the results, the only problem being I had to take it off and go take a shower.

After my shower, I scurried to put on the clothes I picked out, put on deodorant and cologne, I blow-dried my hair and put some jewelry on. It was already 2:24 and I started panicking, I put my shoes on and finally at 2:28 I was ready.

I heard someone knocking at the door so I opened it and what a surprise, Kai was here! "Hey, oh you look nice" Kai said with a smile, His words also made me smile, I replied, "Thank you, you look great too." I closed the door behind me, and so he grabbed my hand and our fingers interlocked while he brought me to his car.

Huening Kai asked me, "What song would you like to play?" As he handed me his phone connected to the bluetooth on his car. "Oh?" I type in the song, "Melting - Kali Uchis", I hum to the song while it plays and he drives to the cafe.

Finally we arrive, I have a huge grin on my face and he grabs my hand once again as we enter in.
