After Returning

Ice Protector

Ash saw Robin sit down infront of him. "Brook?" He asked, whispering. "He went to his class. Defence, with Blake I think. Hopefully Blake does not get sus of him.."

"I'll be honest- He did look like he was suspecting me when I said you guys went to the library-",said Ash, as quiet as he could while the teacher rambles about history, "but maybe I'm overthinking and he wasn't really suspecting us?"

"Hopefully.."

Ten minutes passed, Ash was really bored of this. Robin was slightly enjoying it(Please don't come at me,Idk their favorite subjects,so I'll just POV it😔). With a strong force of wind, Spiral knocked Robin's chair. "Pathetic." She laughed.

Robin sighed, she didn't want to react adversely right now. Specially not right now. "Quit it." She said silently. Spiral rolled her eyes.

"Spiral, please. I'm not trying to be your enemy. We can get along!" Robin whispered. "Friends with you? Why would I be friends with a weakling like you?" Spiral laughed.

"You dated a weakling like me.."

"What'd you say?!" Spiral stood up, yelling. "What's this behaviour, Spiral? Sit down." Lashed the teacher.

"Ugh, whatever.."

"Why did you go to the library with Robin 10 minutes before the break ends?" Blake asked Brook on the doorway to defence class. Brook jumped back due to Blake's sudden appearance. "What the fu-!"

"Oh- It's you.. God. You scared the crap out of me." Brook said. "Answer the question." Blake ordered, lending him a hand.

"We just- wanted to see if there's any information about the previous protectors, or the darklord, nothing special." Brook said. "All of a sudden? Where was the need exactly?"

"I- erm- it's act-" The bell rings. "We'll be late for class!" Brook ran inside.

Weird.

Oscar was back at it again, right after Brook got out of the classroom, he punched him in the face. But good for him, Blake was right behind him. He didn't hesitate to kick Oscar in the stomach(probably rearranged his kidneys or some).

"What the hell?!.. Mind your own damn business, loner freak!" Oscar yelled. "We were minding our own damn business, when YOU decided to punch him for no real reason. Stay the fuck away from me AND him.. Or I'll make sure you see hell." Blake said, throwing daggers at Oscar with his eyes.

"Why the hell do you care about this weakling so fucking much?? Oh right.. Both of you are stupid weak loners. You two must get along perfectly well, isn't that right?!" Oscar laughed. Blake was done with him at this point. "Blake let's g-" Brook said but was interrupted by Blake kicking Oscar in the nose making it bleed.

"Yeah, let's go." Blake said, dragging Brook away by the collar.

"Are you okay?" Asked Blake, after they were infront of the lockers. Brook nodded, "just like a million other times.. He can't even wait a full day before annoying me again."

"He probably isn't bothering me any time soon. You definitely gave him the chills. Could see the fear on his face." Brook smirked. "Enough about him. Day's ended! Finally, some peace. I'll meet up with Ash, see you around."

Blake nodded, Brook continued - "And uh.. Thanks for the back up back there."

"It's not a problem.." Blake left. So cold for no reason.. tHought Brook before running off to find Ash.

He found Ash with his friends. He was Hugging London. Oooooookay... I'll just leave him alone I guess? Brook thought and left, quietly. I can meet up with Robin instead, hopefully she's not busy with ms "I'm so cool look at me".

The next day

Jack and Oscar were in the library, picking out books, looking at the pictures, Laughing, standard friendship stuff. Where was Spiral? She was with Phoenix, picking on Ash.

"Ruby? So like, the previous ice protector was a girl?" Jack laughed,"Dang was our universe doomed back then, a girl leading all protectors?! No wonder those demons broke free."
(It's a random name idk who tf the previous ice protector was)

"Hm really."

Robin, who was stalking them from behind a bookshelf, got so annoyed by them underestimating a girl, she threw a dictionary at Jack's head using magic.

"The hell?! What the fuck was that." Jack said looking back confused. "What?" Oscar asked, confused.

"Something just-" He noticed the dictionary on the floor,"Someone just threw a dictionary at me..- Did you do that?"

"What the hell, no, how would I do that?" Oscar asked,"It's probably the wind?"

Robin was trying hard not to giggle, morons. Where are you Brook?!? These idiots are getting too annoying..

After 15 minutes of waiting, Jack and Oscar were about to leave. Damn it, they're already leaving - Seriously?! Where IS that fish??? She thought, then she noticed the massive splash of water. Now it was her turn..

Jack and Oscar were hella confused. How did this happen? Randomly.. Then they noticed a shadow in the water. They stepped back from it. It could be anything.. And it was going to soak them wet.

"Who's there?" Jack called out, trying to sound brave lmao.

The hauntingly calm voice of a girl spoke back to them, "Greetings to you too.." They recognised this voice, but couldn't put a finger on it. (They're too dumb for that,just saying)

"Who are you..?"

After the water was gone, Magically, they saw a girl.. White hair, blue eyes, just super pretty. "Ruby. That's my name." What the fuck? How is that possible??

Robin was pulling this off too good.

"You two.. You've been fooling the entire world telling them that you guys are the new protectors. That's a shame." Robin said, changing her voice as well as she could,"you should be punished for that."

They were terrified now. It was the ghost of Ruby..? The fuck was happening..?

"I'll warn you now.. If you don't stop bothering and hurting innocent people, I will punish you.. And when I do.. It won't be pretty." She said,"so what if I'm a girl? Atleast I know how to respect people." With those words, she threw icicles(that's how you spell it right...) At both of them,just 1 cm away from both of their heads.

They ran out of the Library, as fast as they could. Terrified. They would've died if those knife like things went through their heads..

After they were gone, Brook sneakily entered the library, "That was FIRE." He said, smirking. "They ain't bitching to us for atleast a whole week."

"Wait I thought you hated Phoenix?? Dang. Upgrade." Robin mocked. "Oh shut up," he said.

"But hey, it went so smooth! We pulled it off like a boss,  they aren't bothering ANYONE for atleast a week. We didn't get caught," she high fived Brook,"That was fucking go-"

A quiet but scary "Brook.. Robin.." sent shivers down their spine.
