I wake up and walk into the kitchen but hear my dad coming out of the basement as I was starting to making dinner. He grabs his plate and takes it down to the basement.
"What you doing?" I ask him.
"I put the dog down there." He replies not looking at me.
"Oh ok." I say.

After I binged watched tons of movies as my dad left to the store I hear the dog bark, but not from the basement. I walk to the spare room where my uncle sleeps and see the dog.
"How did you get up here boy?" I ask.
As I close the door in confusion. I walk back through the living room to the kitchen and then to the basement door. I get a pit feeling in my stomach as I unlock it but once I do I see a boy. The missing kid from the posters around the neighborhood.
"Oh my God, You're Finney Blake." I say in shock.
"Yes, please help me." He pleaded.
"Did my dad do this?" I ask.
"Your dad's the Grabber?" He asks scared. I look down at the floor in disbelief as why he would do this but I get cut off when I hear a car pull up in the driveway.
"Look I will help you, I promise. Just stay put." I say and I run upstairs. Once I get upstares I go to my room to hide as I try to think of what to do. I hear my uncle and dad walk inside the house and get comfortable. After a bit I hear a scream, Finney's scream and so I pick up the phone and call the police.
"This is Y/N and I need to report a kidnapping! The address is 2415 shirley road wilmington NC, please come quick!" I say into the phone while panicking. As the police finally arrived I open the door and point to the basement and explain how I found it and who I expected was the mastermind. As I see them go down stares I hear them talking and so I get nosy and decide to take a look. I see blood surrounding a body, my uncles body. As I tear up a cop comes up and says my dad's dead too.
"Wait, is the boy ok?!" I ask in panic.
"Yes he's ok, he's asking for his sister though."

After a few minutes of people surrounding the house with cameras and microphones I see a little girl riding a bike to the house and comes running in yelling for Finn.
"Finn!" She yells as she hugs her brother tight and the father runs up to them both and holds them, crying. I smile as a tear comes rolling down. Even though I lost my family, I saved another.
"Thank you." His dad says looking at me.
